8 YEARS LATER?

I Think the original story was that the player was in a car crash and went into a coma the basement acted as a way to leave the coma but the neighbor was trying to stop that because he was the devil trying to claim our players soul. Thats why he trys so hard to keep us out of the basement. i think the original idea for the full game was to have the player navigate the disturbing dream world that always somehow involves the neighbor
