James Everingham - Polar Eyes
This is Polar Eyes, from my 2022 album Prism. At the time, I’d just got a TEAC A-3440 reel to reel tape machine, and we were making a lot of recordings in preparation for our score for BBC’s Frozen Planet II. Lots of different sound sources, processed and then recorded to tape then played back slowly and in reverse. In order to test some of these recordings out in context, I improvised some chords on the piano, and what came out was this song and album.

It's insane that you wrote this at age 17. This is some of the most beautiful music I ever heard ever. I remember the moment I first heard it walking around at night and having my jaw drop at how incredible this was. This truly is another level. I have loved all your music since I first heard it 3 years ago. Keep it up!

This is incredible, loved the background to it. What music software did you use to create this music? Ive been looking at cakewalk and cubase but people tend to use those for beats and synths
