Yeah, compared to things like Big Surf Island and the Cops & Robbers DLC bikes felt kinda underwhelming. These runs were mostly just to check them off from the list of categories I could do.

What i think it makes it not stand out to other dlcs, paradise bikes is just, empty is just you, traffic and time trials, no rivals to race with, no mix between car and bike race (like MCLA), they could have added rivals but i think they just doesn't want to have an R-rating by the crashes of the riders

Thankfully they reduced the takedown targets for Road Rage in the remastered version. My run of the Ultimate Box version of the game was nearly 11 hours. But even this was super tiring, almost zero downtime and these runs both gave me a sore neck for a few days staring at the screen. 😂

Thanks! Marked Man definitely gets rough in the late game. I've found the best strategy if you don't have somewhere safe to dive into is to just fight back. If you stay close to the hunter cars they won't be as aggressive. They only take a swing if you let them get some distance so they can steer across the road towards you.

The online servers are still running for remastered so you should still be able to unlock the diamond variant.

Complete all 500 challenges to be awarded the Dimond P12. Maybe have your Elite License as well, not sure because I all ready had my Elite License when I completed my 500th challenge.

I think that's a little unfair. Seeing how a speedrunner deals with an enemy is like saying that the puzzle elements are weak because we already know the solutions. Yes, the slow reaction time of the enemy there means she's a breeze to run past, but playing the game casually you don't know that's how she'll behave. You hold back and take things slow because you don't know how she'll react.

@@HeyItsTrigger Thing is, even casual players like John Wolfe in his SOMA playthrough, he wasn't afraid, he just ran next to her. It's like if the Witch from Left 4 Dead only did 30% of your health. I'm just really disappointed in how weak the enemies are in this game. It's more about the story than the threat of them. Edit: Ofc, a lot of people on SOMA are split, some don't care about the enemies, they just care about the story and they even play on Safe Mode for that matter, but what are the monsters for when they don't pose any threat? In normal gameplays I've seen of this game, nobody has died to her. They don't understand how she works either, they just run or get lucky that she gets triggered and goes around the big wall, take the battery and run. Markiplier understood at the very end when leaving her room, but others didn't. I think the whole point of her existing is useless, it sucks bc she's my fav enemy from the game, just really poor execution imo. Ofc, you're right about some parts of it, people won't know how she reacts and take it slow, but then they either just get lucky, make her scream accidentally, loop her around the wall, grab the battery and run, or rush like John Wolfe. They didn't understand what they did, in contrary of what the devs most likely wanted you to do; moving slowly towards the battery. I think it's just a poor execution.

I can see what you mean, but I don't think the enemies were really ever intended to be difficult to begin with. Frictional tend to skew their horror towards uncertainty and creeping dread rather than simply knowing that getting caught is game over. Many of their games even start by telling you that you should play to enjoy, not to win. This is further exemplified by their switch to including a safe/adventure mode in their newer titles. They're telling a story, and players will do best to really absorb themselves in the worlds.

@@HeyItsTrigger I suppose you're right. I just thought it was lame to even add a neutral enemy (robot girl) that DAMAGES you as punishment for not understanding how she works, instead of an instakill. They do good at setting the atmosphere for newer players, but as someone who likes to study their A.I by messing with them in various games, I quickly realize how bad the enemies are at their own job. Robot Girl only appears twice, and you can rush both of her parts and never see her again. It's bad game design imo, they've created 2 rooms for her, both can be rushed despite what you're supposed to do with her, and you never see her again. I dunno what I expected. At least the enemies have cool designs.

I'm 4 stunt runs from Elite (all else is complete) and, already struggling with them, notice the target score keeps going up!! .. trying to learn from youtubers what to do at each location, I really appreciate the examples here. They're at lower targets so I still need help but with just 4 to go (warren, lambert parkway near the beach, lambert at the bandshell or whatever that is, and the one near wildcats stadium). By any chance could you make vids of those stunt runs, aiming for 500,000? .. or do you know of any? *I HATE STUNT RUNS!!!* .. 🤣 UPDATE: April 16 2023, wins Elite. :-)

@@kimberlyjfurey4699 The Hawker Solo is my favorite stunt car with good boost and great control. It doesn't matter where the stunt starts, as long as you can keep some boost you can go anywhere. Find your favorite stunts that can land and do those for every stunt run if you need to.

Props in SOMA can be in one of two "modes". They can either be in an interaction mode (where you can freely rotate and inspect them) or collision mode (where they collide with your hitbox). Any clip starts with picking up a suitably sized object, which will be in interaction mode at this point, then moving or rotating the prop so that it is inside your hitbox. Once you have the prop inside your hitbox, you simply release the prop and immediately pick it up again. Picking up a prop that is colliding with you will switch it to collision mode, and the game will try to force both you and the prop apart equally. By standing in the right place, holding a prop in the right way, and looking in the right direction, you can use this force to push you through some thin surfaces like walls and doors. That's a really interesting challenge. Would have to really maximise which awards you can go for as you only get 2 events plus freeroam. How would this fare in Remastered where you have access to the DLC cars? Or should this be done "classic" style with the base game vehicles? The Cavalry might struggle with some road rule times.
