Be careful. I've been told that these covers put strain on the hinges, even if its just a little, apparently the hinge is specifically engineered to hold the weight of the screen and nothing else, not even a light plastic shell. Personally, i find these cases to be too bulky, not only in weight, but dimensions. They also tend to scratch up your aluminium casing with the tiny specks of dust and other particles stuck inside, even if you clean it beforehand, dust will eventually find its way in, know this from my experience, almost like tiny holes drilled by microscopic drills in mine. Besides, you're not gonna be holding this when you use it anyway, it'll stay on a desk for basically all use cases, its not gonna get much chances of dropping and denting. Best solution? Just keep it in a bag when you need to travel with it, and be a bit careful when you use it.
