Spoke with a farmer in Ireland recently, same story here. 5 farmer's in a stretch of road, all in their sixties. Nobody to take over the land, children scattered all over the world. No interest in farming. When they retire nobody to take over. Only consolation is land makes big money in Ireland and sells quickly So this land will be probably absorbed into larger farms. Go big or go broke.
Very sad to see people receiving trophy's for intensive unatural rearing, not disimilar to the foie gras method of rearing. I am an organic farmer in the UK and all our animals are free range in their nartural habitat.
It seems the solution is to make an app, an “Farmer’s Uber”, where thousands of farmers will provide substitutional services to one another so that everyone could have a 1-2 free days a week and a 2-week long vacation 3 times per year.
Amazing France is the place of birth and where André Voisin make your creation to world, Voisin Grazing. They are the same type of convencional farmer and this is their problem.

Another wining farmer who make a decent living better than most people who work jobs they do well same as a normal working person then they whine to their children to get a job dont go farming then whine because the kids want nothing to do with the farm when it comes time to retire I don’t feel sorry for any farmer

Children are turning towards farming and rural living. Not away. I'm selling my 70 acre training organic veggy and cattle farm and buying a section and going hard. I'm city born and raised. 4th year on the land.

Really impressed with his daughter. As a Chef myself i know her dad would be proud of how she has conducted herself and shown respect to the Chef around her. She will totally get those stars back. I hope Michelin is considering this and support her and the team.
