I’ve got a 325 i skid. Best bang for buck performance mod is a shorter diff. I’ve got a 3.38 in mine. I’m not going to get it mapped as a 2.5. A bare 3.0 is like £500 and it’s the easiest plug & play swap ever! Then I’ll get it remapped, with oil pump mods, a M50 inlet & decat manifolds should make around 260hp. I’ll probably take too DG for a live map, I want my over run pops on a button somewhere.

Great👍but using that eBay thin wall manifold is just waste of time and money. It will crack badly next 1000 km - for sure. So time consume fix that crap. If you use eBay exhaust manifold try buy that with 3mm thick runners wall. They have some "goldish" looking welds. They are two time expensive but last much longer. I was there😉. That thin wall "chrome" ebay manifold is absolutly crap.

I’m doing this exact swap but an m52tu. Pretty similar to m54 swap. Did you use stock cooling system? Or m54 cooling system? Trying to get an idea what I should do.

Con you go over the car not turning off issue and what the solution was? Had the same issue with the car not turning off, have the switched 12v for the fuel pump relay and DME relay (fuse 29) together on the ignition 12v supply (pin 21 on x20) aswell as all the other switched 12v wires. Are you saying that one of those wires actually supplies power once running?

Did you lose abs doing the asc delete?

I have the same kit, and the bottom starter hole doesn’t line up with the plate. I read on PMCs site that you had to drill/thread in the included insert for the starter hole. Did you have to do this?

I'm gunna suggest maybe checking the gap on your plugs, that and if you have logs check them to see how the ve table looked as you put the car under alot of load

MAX FULLER did you have to cut the sump to modify that toyota 2 jz I have a 1992 bmw E36 318i M40 I want put a bmw M10 engine in my bmw ,me and my brother saw that the sump catches the steering Rack ,bmw E36 is one of the hardest bmw to do engine swap

Small gains in lower gears and offset by annoying high rpm at Autobahn speeds 140+kmh and less top speed Been the done that

Currently have a m54 swapped e36 and its having a intermittent miss fire on cylinder 1, tried swapping coils plugs are pretty new, wiring is a mess on the car i cant really tell what is what lmaoo missing the fuse box too. What you think would be the first thing you would look at for the miss fire?
