The announcement by his corporation being a cover for the time being a cover? I' suppose I'll have to wait to find out. Admittedly my theory is a long shot even for any script writers of Season 2. 😃

Probably can't bring myself to watch it. Lashana Lynch's acting and/or character are just incompatible with any kind of believable or likeable character. You cannot be an all powerful girlboss, a homebody, a mother and a wife, an MI6 special forces badass with impeccable shootingskills, a sniper, a fighter that always overpowers 250 pound men, an office manager with a TERRIBLY unlikeable personality. It's just the same old trope of a female lead with no weaknesses and always smarter and better than men. And I'm sorry, but a perpetual expression of being annoyed BY EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE just gets old really really quickly. Female leads, whenever written and performed great I like very much. Jodie Foster, Silence of the Lambs. Sigourney Weaver in the Alien movies. All remarkable and unforgettable performances. The Day of the Jackal, not so much. If you have to fast forward to skip a character throughout the entire episode, something just isn't right.

The problem with The Boys is that it makes the MAGA trope look like the bad guys, when in reality, it's the leftists that are the fascists.
