I hate to break the news, but the"Ye old black cross" is definitely not haunted, I used to work there, and drink there, still do occasionally. I don't know of anyone having experienced anything unusual in there, and I certainly haven't. Their is even a couple of RUclips videos of a group of paranormal researchers investigating the pub, and they came away with nothing, but personal sensations, no tangible evidence. I'm not sure even, if the history behind the pub is correct, I think it's hearsay, and is used to attract customers in, it certainly needs all the customers it can get, it isn't doing so well these days.

I read about something similar to this concerning one of the last victims of Jack The Ripper. The house tenement where she had been residing and murdered by Jack, was the scene of another two murders a decade, and two decades later. All were in the same building, the crimes were committed just meters away from one another.
