I haven’t really like the main Batman series since new 52 which I loved. I didn’t care for what I read of Tom Kings run. I liked the daredevil run chip did so I might check out his Batman run!

Tynion's run is my fave, Their Dark Design is amazing, Guillem March's art is stunningly good, The Joker War is the other one I love love love! the best that is. I hated Tom King's run. Everything about it, returned all those books, I tried, honest to god I tried but I hated his run.

Batman 135 (900) was incredible and a great way to conclude the story and was really a love letter to all Batman fans. 136 comes out today June 6th, 2023 and we won't have 137 until September due to DC and the stupid company wide story Knight Terrors that will be effecting all books then 137 September 5th

I've ordered MANY books from them over the last year and they have always been in excellent shape. However, they currently are having some kind of "technical issue" with their ordering system and I have not received any books for 8 weeks - I'm signed up for bi-weekly delivery. I have over 40 books now that I'm waiting on. It's been hard to get more information about when the problem will be resolved, although I was told it's affected many orders. Their pre-order prices are excellent so I hate to give up on them but wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.

Definitely by all means get the one bad day Clayface, I believe I've read it about 10 different times and felt it was a very strong intricate story and kept me engaged from start to finish and I place it among my top 5 Clayface stories also the art was top notch.

Year One was not in Detective Comics, it was in Batman.

the art in this issue was what we should have gotten from day one and now at the end we now get it, it leaves me shaking my head and totally confused, normally you put your best artist on a book of this scope.

Blockade you will be happy to know Chip Zdarsky has confirmed he will be on the Batman book through 2025 so that is awesome news

Serg Acuna draws characters so life like and so realistic Tim drawn by him is absolutely gorgeous, I don't know if you saw his 1in 25 variant cover for this issue but my god it was amazing. The other thing a lot of people have speculated is weather or not the fire in the restaurant was real or was it just real to Bernard due to the confrontation with his parents and at first I thought it was real but Tim would never leave a restaurant burning full of people so because Bernards life was in his mind burning up and his father is bigot it makes sense he sees 🔥. But it looks like mama is not a lost cause, she seems love her son and if she has to choose between her son and her husband who is a jerk she is going to choose her son . Great issue and I don't think I have really ever noticed that Tim has the most beautiful blue eyes almost like blue diamonds.

Blockade the only Question I have after this issue is how does Batman come back from this? Falling from the moon was one thing but putting him through this is almost impossible to come back from. Tim Drake in the back up was very very good and Chip knows how to pull the heart strings cause sure made me cry and I got very emotional over that. Over all I give this issue a 8 out of 10

Blockade I certainly agree with you I like this simple costume Batman has, it kinda has The Batman movie vibe to it, it is a bunch of stuff thrown together and it works. AND yes Tim Drake under Chip Zdarsky has been very good and as you theorized it might be the best way to keep Tim front and center. There is a new Batman book series written by Joshua Williamson called Batman & Robin (Damian) starting due to the events Lazarus Planet. I think I'm going to boycott that because they canceled a book that was very dear to me and then think I will buy this new book just like that? and it is going to take me a little time time before I feel right again.
