Its disheartening, really. I got back into ripping packs and collecting with SV151. I was able to get items at msrp well after launch of the set. Which is how it should be. Stores selling preorders at 2-3x msrp prices SHOULDN'T be allowed. I'm out of the game until the pokemon company fixes their supply issues.

I didn't find any prismatic and there is no way I'm going to pay any scalper (or reseller) over MSRP. So I've been focusing on buying singles for the collection and selling everything else I can find on tcgplayer.

Don't pay more than msrp. Period. There will be plenty of reprints. They are still putting out 151 now, like a year and a half after release. The market price is so high dude to lack of product, lack of product is due to scalpers, scalpers are only here because people will pay so an inflated market price because of FOMO. Literally, the only way to break this circle is to stop buying from the 2nd hand market.

I've been saying it for months now: as soon as the big RUclipsrs run out of drama and fomo content, they'll move onto "best ways to buy cheap Pokemon" and guess what set will be on every single list at number one? 8:59 ok so not telling you what to do at all, but if you're selling these now instead of after they sell out of PC site, you're not paying attention to past sales data.

I'll have to go through my collection when we moved I had 11 large moving boxes full of pokemon I'm sure I got one of these I definitely collected in that era

Quick bit of advice! I would highly reccomend listing your items as buy it now and take offers instead of running auctions. Having to wait 7 days for an item to potentially not sell and having to run another auction will greatly slow your cashflow. Buyers don't get excited about auctions at near market value of items. This is coming from someone who resells fulltime on Ebay, fluctuating between 1300-1400 items listed and about the same amount sold every 90 days.
