bro are we watching the same video? the McLaren had the right of way, Honda runs for a yellow and you can't just ram into a car because you think you have the right of way, the court will day its Hondas fault everyday of the week, so you slice it however you want with your Honda salary mindset but this honda just caused an accident man.

What you're forgetting is last clear chance law, the honda saw the mclaren was turning and still went anyway, while you are right, last clear chance would invalidate that in a court of law and make the honda liable

Let's rewind it. The McLaren had a green light as shown inbthe video. The Honda had the red light also shown in the video. The McLaren was also already half way through the light by the time the Honda got there. Even if the McLaren went through the Honda still has to stop. You can't just run into a car. Last clear change to avoid an accident. No matter what chump the Honda at fault.

@@CidMilesthe left hand light clearly had an extra light (you can tell by the longer frame) which is presumably an arrow shaped light which would actually guve the mclaren the right of way, the solid green in many states simply means you can go but have to yield to traffic, and the light turned yellow when the other car entered the intersection, so it still had the right of way to go straight, and it is very possible that the lights changed red from yellow as the biker moved to look left. If the light truly was red the whole time then that is a different story, but given the extra slot for a light (presumably an arrow light) it is safe to assume that the mclaren had to yield

@ from what can be seen the honda entered on yellow, also yea, the last clear chance doctrine can be applied… the mclaren had far more of a last clear chance than the honda (that very likely had the right of way and they simply assumed the mclaren would wait for them to pass before trying to make a left turn until the mclaren actually began to turn, which in and of itself gives the honda far less time than the mclaren that had a clear view of the honda approaching the very moment it came into the intersection ) By your logic of the last clear chance doctrine the mclaren had far clearer and much longer last clear chance to avoid turning…. Do you not understand how stop lights work? Especially those which clearly have an additional light with the explicit purpose of indicating the right of way for left turns? (Which by the way was not lit) Get over it
