The Konyak tribe were well known for its culture, like Headhunting, Tattooing and also for their craftsmanship. It is said that they were a tribe that the British could not colonise, and they were making their own guns before the British arrived in the region. The Konyak in the early 19th century were very intelligent and brave. They were very hard-working and depended fully on agriculture for their livelihood. However, things are different now.
