Save Big By Mixing Your Own Beard Oil
Просмотров 154Год назад
This is the second time I've mixed my own beard oil with these Amazon purchases. With prices being what they are these days, it never hurts to save money where you can. Mixing my own currently costs me $2.08 per ounce, but that's with Amazon Prime and free shipping included. Your mileage may vary slightly. I mix 30ml of each into 4 ounce cobalt bottles. The avocado oil went rancid on me the las...
Feeding Bucket Tomatoes for Insane Growth and Production

I planted these tomatoes the second week of May 2021. Three roma, two cherry, one mortgage lifter, three grape and one green zebra. All indeterminate except the Romas. I started fertilizing them with two tablespoons of Alaska fish per gallon every Friday for approximately five weeks, then I cut back to one tablespoon and added one tablespoon of Alaska Morbloom to the mix and started fertilizing...

Had a hankering for teriyaki chicken tonight, so much for that idea. I wasn't aware that everyone had bailed, but I'm not the least bit surprised. You can see where the main mall walkway was located near the end of this video.
Northgate Mall - Seattle, WA. Final Walk Through - August 20, 2019

A follow-up video to the one I recorded here on February 26, 2019. The food court is still in operation, and most of the businesses north of Kay Jewelers are still open. The restaurants ringing the outside are open as well. Update: The Ram closed shortly after I posted this video. Strange seeing it like this for the last time after 50 plus years of memories. I was somewhat hesitant to walk past...
Northgate Mall Macy's - Seattle, WA - Last Walk Through. May 17, 2019

This store originally opened as a Mon Marche on April 21, 1950, the flagship of Northgate Mall. Scheduled closure date is late July. Nothing lasts forever. I've a lot of memories of this store and Northgate Mall. My mom gave me a $20 bill and cut me loose to do my first solo Christmas shopping here when I was eleven years old in December 1968.
Starting Huel Today

I went to a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and discovered that I'm up to 250 pounds, unacceptable. I purchased a box of HUEL in May of last year which I put on the floor my bedroom closet to keep at a relatively constant temperature and promptly forgot all about it until yesterday. It's been sitting unopened for the past nine months. It's time for me to get serious about shedding these extra p...
Sears Southcenter is shutting down December 15 2024! That is the last Sears location in Washington State! Please also do a store tour there before the last day! Originally opened as Frederick and Nelson in 1968 until 1992 and then became Sears 1994
I just saw your comment. I wasn't even aware of a Sears still being open in the region. Wish I could have gotten there in time to shoot a video.
great job
Thanks very much.
My first experience with Northgate Mall was doing Trick or Treating on October 31, 1991. I just moved to the USA at age 11 and barely spoke English. I became enamored with the mall experience especially Northgate because in the early 90s, many kids at my school and probably all of the US were obsessed with Nike/Jordan/Reebok sneakers. Window shopping was one of my favorite things to do as a kid and even now as an adult (almost 46 years old) I still walk around malls.
Thanks for sharing your memories. I took my son there for trick or treating around the same time. We may well have crossed paths.
I don’t know if this is true tbh but wasn’t northgate mall the first mall in the country? I don’t know why they couldn’t keep it as something historical. I’d much rather have it back than the kraken stadium
Some sources say Southdale Center in Minnesota was the first, others say Northgate. The former opened in 1956, six years after Northgate. Don't even get me started on those hockey rinks... 😠 Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated.
Yes we getting 100 degrees temperatures
My peppers no flowering much only have like 3 peppers each will mor bloom work
@@Manuel3525m yes. Are they getting plenty of sun?
At what stage of the plants did you start using both? Also, did you use 1 gallon per plant? Thanks!
@@JoeSchwa I start with morbloom around week 6. I premix ahead of time using gallon water jugs, makes it easier. You won't burn them going over that, but I've found a gallon per plant to be sufficient.
These are out of 5 gallon buckets. Thats CRAZY.
Yep, 5 gallon. Thanks for watching! 🙏
Did you put 1 gallon of mix ( 1 tbsp of Alaska Fish and 1 tbsp of Morbloom ) to each container or split it between containers ? If split, how much volume of mix did you put into each of these containers ( which looks like 5-gallon container ) ?
I put around a gallon in each bucket, but it won't hurt any if you go over that a bit.
Sarku had the best teriyaki
Absolutely.
Just Like This Mall, What About A Tour of the following malls: Tacoma Mall Southcenter Mall Alderwood mall Bellevue Square Yakima Valley Mall with an open Sears in Union Gap
WACALifts International has also filmed this entire mall as well, before the areas are taped off
I recorded another vid in February 2019 when it was still open.
@@GregJGreen yeah I Saw that. What about these other malls I Just mentioned and talked about ?
@@youtubeuser7082I don't get out much these days, been dealing with health problems. I'll try to get one of Alderwood Mall when I'm able.
I Grew Up going to this mall
So many memories
I just did the exact same mixture and added some superthrive (1 tbsp per 5g). After seeing your tomatoes I am very excited.
I miss this mall!!
The smell nostalgia i just got is crazy!!!
All the Holiday memories here 😢 so sad to see it like this 😢😢
I know. I really miss it.
I have a lot of memories at this mall.
This is so haunting man it was the first mall in the country
Yeah, I still miss the place. Thanks for watching!
This guy is right. I've been doing this for quit a while. My tomatoes and peppers always do very well.
Thanks so much for this! I worked security in 2006-2008, so I have many memories of this place. I’m on the other side of the country, and had no idea they changed the whole thing.
Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I still miss NGM, it was so convenient for shopping and evening walks.
Would it work for pepper
Absolutely. My girlfriend grows peppers in 5 gallon buckets and uses both, they look great.
Sad! I remember Northgate Mall!
Wow!!
Thanks for your video. Amazing!
Thanks for watching!
You use these both together?
Yes, mix them together. Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it. Hope you have great results with them.
Good idea, thanks for posting mate!👍🏼
Thanks, Andrew. 👊
I left a comment on the other video of Northgate mall, and I think it captured my thoughts well enough. Watching the previous one and then immediately following with this one is kind of chilling. I wish I could take in this place one last time, but almost the entire mall is gone now. I didn't really know how much I cared about this place until it was gone.
I used to go here a lot as a kid, and no matter what I always had to check out the GameStop and walk by Sarku Japan for the free samples. When it was closing down and being demolished, I was going through a really turbulent period of my teenager-hood. I was dealing with a lot of thoughts relating to my childhood, and I felt like I was losing a lot of the connections I had to it due to moving houses and switching schools and whatnot. I live just a few blocks away from what used to be the mall, and I would take the time every few days to walk through or at least by it and as I was making progress with sorting out my thoughts and working through the growing pains of not being a kid anymore, the mall was getting more and more destroyed. In the moment, watching it dissolve away as time passed made me feel worse. In hindsight, it was kind of a beautiful allegory(?) for what I was going through. While I was changing, I was losing little pieces of what I wanted to hold on to and what I grew up with but something new came of it. The mall may be mostly gone, but there is something else in it's place and there is always a little bit of the past left. I can't ever walk through the mall again in the same way I used to, but I have my memories and people have preserved what they could of it. I don't know how to tie it all together, but the video is a nice little walk down memory lane, and it reminds me how far I've come since then.
Nicely said. We never know how much we'll truly miss a place until after it's gone. My memories of NGM are extensive; nothing can take those away. Thanks very much for watching my vids and taking the time to comment. Wishing you all the best in this new year.
I lived there in 2005 - 2008, didn’t there used to be a drug store in that mall at one point? I vaguely remember buying stuff there.
Yes, a Rite Aid or Bartell drugstore was near the NE corner years ago.
Sad to see it go. First went in 1965. Mom would take me to Penny’s for school clothes each year. Bon Marche and Nordstrom’s In Christmas. Many good times.
I really miss it.
We’re you the last person to turn off the lights
Pretty much 😃
We used to go to that mall everytime we went the Seattle. I didn't even knew it was closed till I saw this video. What is there now?
It's a work in progress. A handful of stores are still at the north end, but the majority of it is gone. Here's a link explaining more. Thank you for watching my vid. northgatenhltrainingcenter.splashthat.com/
Ghost mall Is sad!
Yep, I really miss it. Thanks for commenting, Thomas.
I remember when Macy’s went out of Business at Northgate Mall in Seattle. That place had been there forever. Very sad, not just for Macy’s but the other stores there. I remember when it was the Bon Marche and Bon Macy’s.
I wish they'd have built those rinks at Southcenter instead, really miss Northgate mall. This was the first store my mom allowed me to do Christmas shopping on my own in 1968, remember it well. Thanks for commenting. Wishing you a Happy New Year.
@@GregJGreen Oh wow, that’s cool. You’re welcome. Happy New Year to you as well.
Im gonna miss the 2 story barnes and nobles
Are they closing it?
@@GregJGreen I assumed they would bc it's connected to northgate.
@@danthewildbirdman I was told that it was safe a couple of months ago, but things can turn on a dime.
Damn bruh I used to do stupid shit here 😔
Very few can say they didn't do stupid stuff when they were kids, I'm certainly guilty of it.
Oh my god, no! There’s like nothing left there except Red Robin.
It's a shell now. Here's a list of the 20 stores left. www.simon.com/mall/northgate-station/stores
@@GregJGreen Holy shit, that’s a low number from what used to be there.
Indeed. I heard it's eventually going to look something like University Village in a few years, we'll see.
That is awesome! I will have to try the morbloom. My tomatoes did get pretty tall and I was only watering them every 2 weeks with Alaska Fish Fertilizer. That stuff is super awesome. Thanks for commenting on my channel.
Thanks. Back at ya. 👊
ALWAYS HAD S GOOD TIME AT THE MALL ON FRIDAY THEN HO TO RED ROBIN THEN FLAMINGO'S... ✌🏾❤️💯
I met Jim Zorn and Steve Largent there.
I lived in that area up until just after the 9/11 attacks. I thought they had a major investment and rehabilitation project going on. Shocked to see this.
I literally grew up going to this mall. I remember getting pics with Santa as a little kid, getting my ears pierced at the Claire's, buying school clothes every summer at the JCP, hanging out with my friends here in middle school and high school, buying my prom dress at the Macy's, shopping for business casual clothes after landing my first full time job, and buying kitchen stuff at the JCP before moving into my first apartment. It's so strange to see it like this when so many live stages are attached it. RIP, Northgate Mall.
Can you drop another what's left of mall
Been planning on doing an update soon.
@@GregJGreen when?
Never because he died.

I'm still amongst the living. I'm going to do a walk around vid soon, been dealing with some health issues.
I was born at Children's Orthopedic Hospital and was raised in Lake Forest Park and Bothell. We did most of our mall shopping in Bel Square but went to Northgate often as my dad's office was nearby. I celebrated at least 4 of my birthdays at Farrell's Ice Cream and we always shopped at Buddy's and Friedlander's, saw a bunch of movies in the theater (back when it was two large screens before they divided it up into shoebox-style theaters for higher profits) and I remember liking the landscaping and the totem poles, the fountains, and the sensible way in which the parking was laid out. Remember that big circular drive at the north end of the mall? There was a large QFC that we really liked too (before any QFCs were in Bothell so it was a treat to shop there). It was less "corporate" and many of the shops there seemed to be standalone local businesses or small local chains that offered really great service and merchandise you couldn't find everywhere. It wasn't just like every shopping center and although large, was designed on a human scale. Then Simon tried to modernize it and make it more upscale, mom-and-pop stores left and were replaced with national chain stores selling cheaply made goods due to economies of scale (as they could afford the rents due to sheer size), Northgate became a lower-end neighborhood and the mall began to attract a rougher crowd. Car prowlings, shoplifting, muggings, etc. became fairly commonplace. Back in the late '90s I went back to school at North Seattle CC to prepare for a tech degree at UW and occasionally stopped at the "improved" mall and was really disappointed at what it had become. The demise of a once-great and very original shopping center was a long process. I hate what retail has become.
When I was a kid living in what was called Ridgecrest back in the 1950's took a bus to Northgate. The enclosed mall was not there only I believe Woolworths and a hobby store and a few others. The movie theater was going then along with the adjacent hospital or medical center. I wonder if the big totem pole is still out front by the movie theater. I know the movie theater is no longer open. I went to Woolworth's and bought my Hulu Hoop. Now you know it was many years ago!
The totem pole was removed in September 2007.
Seattle is dying.. Grew up in Lake City in the 50's 60's North Gate was not yet an enclosed Mall just a shopping center. so many great memories as a kid. Great City to grow up in... completely ruined now and soon to be like Detroit
Afraid so. The majority keep voting the same progressive buffoons into power, only the names change. Aversion therapy doesn't make a dent in these major democratic cities.
