They look so pretty! It’s going to make a beautiful quilt! I think the flag house is my favorite so far - but they are all fantastic!!

Your blocks look great. I am surprised how quickly the blocks how together, I’ve only started the Flag house and I’m really pleased with it. The most time consuming for me is the cutting as I’ve got the kit and don’t want to mess anything up. But there seems to be plenty. I also brought the glue on Amazon not long ago. How are you squaring up the blocks as I can’t find Lori’s Trim it ruler in the UK?

I went to Liberty last year and it was amazing. I planned ahead and took an empty carryon and a few quilt patterns. I also told my husband that if he wanted to come home with me he couldn’t make any comments about the amount of money I spent 😉

I would love to visit. I like the traditional prints. I would be buying all the pink. 💕

Do you wipe off the oil on the new blade before using? is there a chance it would get on your fabric?

Hi Tamsin. How exciting for you to get to visit Liberty. How often do you get to visit? I’m drooling over all the gorgeous fabrics, housewares etc. your daughter did a great job filming you. Can you explain what Tana lawn is. I’m not familiar with it. I have always been drawn to these tiny floral prints. I grew up calling them calicos. I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite.

Wiltshire Berry, Emily Belle and Betsy make my heart beat faster, especially yellow and green prints. Thanks for taking us with you , it's been many years since I could get my husband passed the front door 😊

I love this quilt. It’s above my skill a bit, I think. I joined the cross stitch version of the houses through Fat Quarter Shop, though. For Christmas, during the FQS sale I bought the Quilty Fun Row Along quilt kit by Lori. I’m going to work on a few smaller projects and then hopefully start it in a few months. I have only made two quilts and i definitely need more practice. My goal the new year is to become more confident and consistent in my quilting and sewing.

A bit later in the day, but seen while it's still Christmas day in Arizona. It has been a treat watching you open each day's treasure. May have to consider doing this next year. Thanks for sharing!

Hello - do they unravel when the pieces are cut apart?

I read that Jenny had them made in Nepal. And they are meant to be pin cushions but they can just be adorable.

What a clever little kit. I’ve just made some corner bookmarks out of cotton for gifts. I like the idea of using wool.

I used to do this without sewing a couple of extra stitches in between. It made it harder to snip them apart.😂 learn something new every day! I also use leaders and Enders to keep my chains going.

OMG. I LOVE it. We are a Lego family. I do hope they will have these for sale at MSQC after the holidays so I can get one. I’d like to have quite a few of the items in the adventure box actually.

I have some of these, not from MSQC but I find them only slightly helpful in removing mat lint.

I would have to pass this one on to a friends as I don't needlepoint. The pillow in the photo was done two years ago in the box.

I love your idea about swapping out the snowflake for another embroidered piece - or maybe a small quilted block?

What a lovely gift! Lately, when I am not quilting, I am embroidering. I started off embroidering on felt when making wool felt Christmas ornaments several years ago. Recently, I moved on to hoop embroidery, which I haven’t done since primary school. I would love one of those frames. I have seen them online. Might need to get one now.

I love embroidery, and it’s very nice that you can use the frame for other pieces as well.

That is really lovely. I’ve been itching to do a snowflake pillow this year but this might be a quicker finish. I love that you can change out what’s inside the frame.
