Yes, I felt the same way. I would say the key to victory in this mission is to destroy the village immediately. Because defending the forge is almost impossible due to the constant giant spam :)

You can farm the wand on any difficulty level. In the video, I farmed it on "legendary". You can also farm the wand on the normal difficulty level and then use it on the legendary difficulty level. That is possible. But I don't think Ylva is stronger. Was I able to help you?

Depending on which god you choose, you will have other gods to select from in the next age. In the menu you can look at the "Tech Tree" where you can see exactly which units and abilities your god has. Was I helpful? :)

Yes, that's why I destroyed the temples first as quickly as possible, so that the giants can no longer spawn.

The level is not as difficult as it seems. I've tried it many times, but always got it wrong. With this strategy I managed it without saving & loading on the first try. I can explain to you again how I managed it: At the beginning I focused completely on the resources so that I was in the last age before the attack starts. You can see that I only trained the berserkers when they attacked. The attacks can come from 3 sides. I've completely walled off the left and right sides so that they can't get through for a long time. In the middle, however, I have built walls, but in such a way that individual enemies can still get through. This ensures that not all enemy units get through at once. This is a good way to take them all out individually. Why did I only make Berserker? There are many reasons for this. You can use them against almost all units, they are quickly trained and cost few resources. They also have super technologies that make them very strong! They also give 1 Favor on death because of the one upgrade. So you can use the flame weapons more often or the healing fountain. I hope I was helpful :)

@@FightingFruit Now I need to agree. The walls helped a lot but iz didn't work as good as for you. They always prefered to attack on the right but often enoght i got the middel clear so I could run around and the Ki still prefers to attack walls even if it could run throu a hole. Still I changed a bt to use but also mixing a few other units in. 6 barracks on berserks, 1 on spear, 2 on axe thowers and 1 great hall for godi who can kill the hill giants very well. The last AI attack way extremly hard and killed most productions buildungs but I selected the wrong mystic od but of not look well. On this other hand that allowed me you make a ragnarök at end that saved all and was also enought to kill Gargarensis. Anyways - the walls and the double fountain did it. Thanks for the idea. Espexially the double fountian is so strong

I completely bricked up the left and right sides, but left the middle open with walls. That's why most of them got through the middle :) So I only had to fight at this point. And yes, the berserkers with all their technologies are more powerful than they seem!

It really unfun this level. The waves after waves of enemies. It just you get slowly depleted till your save becomes unwinnable.

@@thomasmcneilly5783 I know what you mean, I beat it EASILY on moderate and then hard was just another level, but I only tried once and that was before watching this video

My strategy: I built walls around the city as early as possible. Behind it, lots of Sentry Towers. The enemy don't attack with Siege Weapons, the Sentry Towers are great at defending themselves and are almost never destroyed. I also defended with Toxotes soldiers, because they can shoot over the wall. The water attacks can easily be repelled with 1-2 Scylla. This allows us to farm the gold mine on the island. I hope this helps :)

You can't retrieve the "Eye of the Gray Ones" from the NPC. However, you can kill the Gray Sisters again and they will always drop the eye. So you don't have to create a new character. You can farm the eye at any time :)

As you can see in the video, I'm wearing a helmet and bracers that reduce the required player level. The helmet reduces the level by 10% and the bracers by 5%. This means I can already wear the Sickle of Kronos at level 68 (80 - 15% = 68). So nothing is cheated! You just need the right items ;)

The helmet (Helmet of Aani the Protector) is awarded after completing the quest “No Peace for the Fallen”. This quest is in the Eternal Embers DLC.
