I’ve owned one since July23 and kept a spreadsheet of every refill and km, mine is very stock. Total average is 10l/100k, I’ve gotten as low as 8.5 and as high as 11.5. Mostly short trips, a couple of long ones. Big trips are fully loaded but not towing.

I fitted these seals to my '22 model and found a dramitc difference in wind/whistle noise. Whilst I didnt measure it, the change is very noticable for me and my family. The overall noise is still very loud so next I wil be installing some panel deadining to deal with that issue.

Have you lined your door metal with sound absorbing material like dynamat? I did that in my 80 series and helped much more than door seals

It is important to note that the decibel scale is exponential, therefore an increase of 20 dB from 0 is 100 times louder. That being said, I'd trust my ears mate. If you can't hear a difference then they're no good. I might consider trying them for my 75 series since its getting old and makes quite a racket on the highway. Good vid mate.

I have the same vehicle. The wife and I just love it!! Towing a 22.6 caravan 3400kgs. Bog standard except for airbags. I tow in 4th gear at 90 ks. Awesome vehicle

Such a beautiful 76 series..also lovw that its a v8 manual..good thing abt these cars is one can modify it to adjust comfort with new seats and other accesories..also one can reduce cabin noise too..but still..beautiful truck...
