We use a micrometer to check the thickness of the pads and replace the leaking brake cylinder. Uncle Mike shows up late in the video and uses an unorthodox method of brake bleeding that actually seemed to work. After debating brake bleeding methods, we took the Mule o...

Otherwise, they can become brittle over time, which could cause ...

Teac A-2300SX Reel to Reel Tape Player Head Cleaning How to / DIY
Hey do you still have old board I would like to buy
No, i think i chunked it when i finally put this unit on the corner.
thank you - perfect demonstration!
Mine keeps doing it, tired of tapping it. New motherboard time. Shame you can’t just change the relay.
If you have checked the oil, changed the spark plugs and and it still won't start, then what?
Carburetor?
Where did you buy this at? Can contact cleaner do the same thing?
You can get it on Amazon. It is contact cleaner, so yes!
I have a wt1201cw with OE error and the water is not draining. Sometimes it will say DR. It is making a noise to drain, but no draining.
Very helpful and you saved me a ton of time and expense. The entire process took about 15 minutes with my heater and now it works good as new! Thank you!
Glad it worked out!
Dialectic grease CO$T$ more than those relays
Thankyou
"one eighth of a glass of wine"! 😂
Next time assemble gasket to glass and then use the rope to install the glass and gasket onto the body
Man, i would sure like to seehow that works. Thanks for your comment! I wish i could see it.
I notice that you were doing this in a weekend. How many beers did it take you to finish the job?
Probably 120.
Put Sta-bil in your gas....Keeps carburator from sludging up and.....Always run the gas out when not using
The most important step in my book is to buy ethanol free gas, if you can.
It worked on the very first try… It took me less than 10 minutes. Unbelievable got can’t thank you enough.❤
Glad to help! Check out my other video on the motherboard replacement for this washer. It is what i ended up doing when this “fix” no longer worked.
Thank you... it worked.
We'll see how long my machine holds up but your description was excellent. It defintely reset and is working. Hopefully the relay just did something weird and doesn't do it again. Thanks very much for the insight.
This method works for powering on and the pump is running already the tapping relay gets it to turn off. and also for when water wont drain from the machine during a cycle ie pump wont switch on.. had to do this twice now probably a year apart. probably saved me upwards of $600 in repairs if i had to call someone to fix it.
I don’t have to buy a new washer! Thank you!!
Was someone peeing around the 5:00 mark?
Hard to say, but we were in the middle of the woods at night drinking beer.
18:18 What is the proper orientation of the emulsion tube during reassembly?
A previous comment is right about the Pilot Jet on the very top of the carb. if clogged, it will cause the engine to run rough or not at all. Easy fix, many RUclips vids. Chickanic say " Ethanol Sheid " additive is a great product for the corrosion problem and storage of gas in equipment . OR at $25 , replacement of the carb is an option !!!
It worked! Thank you!! I took other people's advice and knocked it loose. Was unsuccessful the first time. Referred back to video to pinpoint where the switch is and tried again focusing on the target area. Turned it on and no godforsaken annoying hum of the pump and proceeded to do a happy dance.
Hehe! Happy Dance! Glad it worked!
What does it mean when you can run propane pull start right up... fresh gas that put in the tank(has never been run on gasoline before) will not fire up on pull start( battery dead). Works every time on propane, cant get it to fire up the gasoline. (Yes, all lines turned on right)
Is there a fuel shutoff on the petcock of the fuel tank? I wonder if your carb is clean, but there’s no gas flowing from the gas tank to it.
You don’t fog the engine
No, i never have. Those cylinder walls are coated with oil from the last time it ran. They are protected from atmosphere. I might fog if i was storing for 3 years or something, but for 7 months of off-season, I don’t feel like it’s necessary. The boat is in central Arkansas. Maybe your mileage wiil vary.
Worked!!! Thank you so much!!😊
Awesome!
My champion generator stop working and I watch this video and we clean the carburetor and the generator working like champ again thanks so much for this Cain of info
So glad it helped! Thanks for taking the time to comment. It really means a lot!
Great diagnosis and overview of repair. It confirmed and identified issue of my drain pump remaining on. Tapping the relays worked but it did come back after a few washes. But, it has allowed me to get laundry done while I await a new control board. Too bad the board is sealed and you cannot just replaced the relay :(
Great video. My wife just paid 220 bucks for this service. I’ll do my own on my LX with 300k on it.
Thanks. It was the choke. Quick fix 💪🏽
Are you referring to @11:35 when he couldn’t blow through the hole? I apologize I’m so new to this but I’m trying to learn. Thank you!
great video - worked on LG like a charm. thank you odd method to resolve issue. one would expect explanation in manual with better instructions on relays replacement / trouibleshooting from manufacturers instead of replacing whole board
Thank you for this video. I was freaking out thinking I needed a new washer. This worked. Everything is back to normal!!
Good. Thanks.
Sir my husband and I are very grateful for you making such and informative video. You saved us from running to Sam’s tonight as we await for what will be hurricane Helene. Thank you
Thank you for the info. Worked like a champ. Someone gave this too me and it didn’t work. I did 2 things, bypass the tip over switch, didn’t work, and your tip and it worked. I didn’t use the wrenches and some fine sand paper.. thanks a lot
Thanks for the video. The lazy man inside me decided to try some percussive maintenance right in the indicated areas. Fortunately, the results are instant should you hit it just right: the pump stops running. Not to short circuit your video at all, it pointed me in the right direction, but it's the ideal place to employ percussive maintenance, a stuck mechanical relay, and it worked like a charm. Obligatory LG washer terrible, but I refuse to let them win by replacing it.
Thank you my friend. That was the issue. And its working now. The pump used to run as soon as i turned on the machine. I thought it was pinched hoses and clogged inlets.. even took the back off to diagnose this thing. We a family of 10 are happy again. Thank you for this😊
What did you do about the emergency brake cable rubbing on new leaf?
It was close. We bent the bracket up, if I recall correctly.
Thanks, from Australia :)
Holy shit, this worked!! I had this same issue and was worried I was going to have to call a service technician to come out. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this video and fixed my washer in about 30 mins or less. Appreciate the post!
There's another reason mine occasionally doesn't start. I can reset the position of the gear shift and it will start. Mine is really touchy about being in the perfect neutral spot. Friend who has a newer one said he had to replace the in-line fuse on the dump bed. I'm a 75-year-old grandma. I wish mine had an hour meter, or an odometer. I have used that for so many things around the farm. Great video. I really depend on my Gator!
David - Does this style of fuel system also have a fuel/water separator also? I've had a look at my boat ans cant seem to find one.
Yes, I believe the cup that the filter sits in is a fuel/water separator.
Thank you! This was the fix for me.
Mine you have to run with
Thanks seemed to have worked for us.
I literally watched this video step by step. I was scared at first, because I had no idea what I was doing. I prayed before cutting the machine back on… it worked perfectly. Excellent video from start to finish !!!
I am so glad I found this video! Thank you so much! This worked beautifully.
did you guys end up using the same bushings? mine's not looking great, but neither does yours... does it just look bad but is fully functional?
No, we used all new OME bushings. Which aection looks bad? Sorry. It’s been a minute since i’ve seen this video. Can you point me to a time?
@@budgetprojectsbydavid5263@17:24, looks like you guys put back on the old top bushing, after saying that you only bought the spring+shocks and the other OE parts you guys didn’t buy/aren’t replacing looks to be still in good shape. Mine looks a little worse than yours, and I’ve been contemplating whether or not to replace that bushing or not. The part that Toyota says is the OEM actually doesn’t look like the old OEM part.
this whole video is a vibe
That stuff looks like saw dust is corrosion from ethanol in fuel it eats dries out rubber to when it crystallized carb is toast
Thank you for sharing this! Lifesaver!
Make sure to read the other comments. They point out a white disc below the filter that should also be changed periodically. 😃
