Do you offer classes yet? I have watched hours of autocad/photoshop classes for rendering helps, and you without question, have been the MOST helpful that I’ve finally come across! Where do you teach? I would absolutely sign up for a course with you.
I teach at a University in Arizona - so probably not the best option for most! But I am so happy to hear that my videos have been helpful for you! I think many people who instruct on software are so far advanced that it's hard to know how to help people using it for the first time. It's easy to talk over people. I really try my best to remember what it was like to learn software as a beginner - I know I was frustrated with my instructors when I was taught. My goal is to help people not feel so intimidated by the software - because it's quite easy once you learn the behaviors! I would make more videos - but being a professor keeps me very occupied with grading, curriculum building, advising, so on and so forth. If I ever find myself unemployed, I will make many more videos and maybe actually start making money with RUclips! So sorry I can't help you find classes I am teaching - you have to be an interior design major at my University to take my classes - but stay tuned, I'm hoping to do more videos in the future!
@@IDInstructor look forward to any and all updates! I actually live in AZ. Small world of sorts. Might have to check out NAU’s online learning offerings. Thank you again!
Please give us more. You do a excellent job teaching! Do you offer classes by chance?
I teach at a univeristy in Arizona. Unfortunately I don't have time to do a lot of extra teaching as a result - and I'm always trying to make better videos for the class I a teaching. Any topic you'd like to see on here?
Thank you for this tutorial! Is there any chance I could get the floor plan to now try working alongside the video?
give me your email, I'll send it to ya.
Thanks!!! Great Lecture!!! Please attach PDF or image so that we can work accordingly. Or did I miss the working file somewhere?😀 ....of course subscribing now if not sooner!!!
I don't have the files uploaded - can you do that on RUclips? Quick fix is to use the "Snipping Tool" on your computer. Pause the video, and take a snip of the image. Turn it into a pdf on ilovepdf.com - and you have it!
@@IDInstructor put in your google drive and share the link here Thanks
Thank you very much, this is the only tutorial that explains very detail step by step instructions. I am always looking for videos from your channel for other instructions.
Great to hear!
I'm a university instructor - i get really busy and can't always make videos. But I'm working on making more!
Wowww Jessica! I really learnt from this video and I am about to do a sample design to practice but what I loved the most is the way you guide the viewer, its like your my friend, teaching me, sitting right next to me, making me laugh the whole time!!!
You are so welcome! Good to know my cheeky humor is resonating with someone! haha.
Very useful and informative video, thank you so much!!!
Glad it was helpful!
amazing! and it would be great if u share the picture you're working on , so we could follow after you

very good teaching. Hope more videos will be uploaded. Support from Hong Kong
Ok, thank you! More to come!
Hi, thank you for the great tutorials! Do you offer the Id Template outside of your class? I am interested in getting it if possible
I can send it to you. Please email me at jrmack04@gmail.com
@@IDInstructor thank you! I will email you shortly.
Thank you soo much ...
Most welcome 😊
Hello, I do like your tutorials. Do you have In design too. If yes, please send me the link. Thank you very much!!
Not yet!
Your videos are very helpful!! Would you do videos about Legends and Schedule? or a walk through of a CD Sets
Thank you. I am slowly working my way to do those kinds of videos. I teach at a university as well, so my time has been limited. But know I want to go into more.
Thank you 👍
You are welcome
Great work... I love your videos.. keep making them...
Glad you like them!
How did you make doors.... they are lovely....and kudos to your efforts for making such knowledgable videos
Honestly I stole it from the architect I work for! But there are some videos on RUclips for how to do it - they are called dynamic door blocks, Good luck!
Hey how did u made that door where we can choose different sizes? any tutorial for the same.. also any tutorial for making a template?
I actually stole it from an architect I was working from! But there are lots of tutorials on RUclips for "AutoCAD Dynamic Door Tutorial" and you should find lots! I've never done that myself. One of these days....
Best Instructor Ever.. keep up the good work...Please also do the Vray series if possible :)
If I only knew Vray! Maybe I'll learn! Thanks for the suggestion!
@@IDInstructor no problem.. all of ur video series are very well structured and really a very good learning source...👍

Wow 🤩 I was think it’s so difficult 😓 to coloring the plan 😢😢😢but now it’s easy for me thanks for you
You can do it!
Really thought i needed to find my charger quick for a second there haha
hahaha! You know...I like to keep it real!
Your video is EXACTLY what I was looking for . . . which was "Concept vs. Theme." Oh, I found lots of definitions, but nothing (until your instruction/learning/activity-based video) that addresses the "versus" (yet symbiotic) relationship of the two words, thought processes, and eventual cohesive renderings. I teach desktop publishing using Adobe InDesign at a community college. Halfway through each semester, the students become a "publishing company" that designs and prints the semester's edition of the college's literary and art magazine. As a "company" they meet with the "client", the committee of professors who oversee the collection of writings and artwork from the entire student body and selects the "winners" for publication. Next Tuesday, the client is attending our virtual class meeting to 1) explain what the "givens" are for the publication, e.g., less than 60 pages on folded legal-size paper and 2) encourage the students to propose a new design for the magazine. With that second point in mind, each student develops a mock-up sample whose design is based on a concept and theme that is derived from reading and looking at the awarded entries. Then each student selects a color palette, fonts, graphics, and a layout design that is based on and supports the chosen concept and theme. You can imagine how "Whaaa???" some of the students are when first given the assignment. That's why I needed to find . . . your video! Rather than listening to me yammer on about it, they will have your excellently produced, engaging, interactive video to nurture their learning. THANK YOU! (Yes, I "Liked" and "Subscribed.)
Wow!! I'm touched by your words! This sounds like an amazing project for your students I'm so happy to hear that my videos are helping other instructors help students achieve great things. Thanks so much for reaching out! I am only intermediate with my Adobe Skills - there is so much to learn about the programs. I want to take your class!!
@@IDInstructor I chuckled at "I am only intermediate..." because, despite umpteen years of using Adobe products, I label myself the same because the doggone programs keep improving past my current level of know-how.
Hey!! Just subbed to your channel! Why don’t you use SMZeus . c o m to increase your subs?
Sorry my voice is so raspy and sexy! I must have had the microphone on my headset up instead of down. Apologies!
Sorry my voice is so raspy and sexy! I must have had the microphone on my headset up instead of down. Apologies!
Sorry guys, I can't add pictures to comments. But if you print screen or use the snip tool - you can get a good snapshot of the table in this video.
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. Plz don't stop making videos. You're amazing, your lectures is amazing, and you're a great teacher. I can't wait till you blow up. I'm currently pursuing a interior design certificate this fall, but I want to jump start by applying to interior design firms but I lack AutoCad experience. This channel is a godsend for me right now. Thank you sooo much!
Wow, thank you! This series will definitely get you started! Keep going!
well, thank you so much for this tutorial!!! you've made it so well understandable, cause you mentioned every little detail. what a coincidence, that of all tutorials i've found so far, the only one made by a woman turns out to be the most helpful for me! ;) that was exactly what i've been looking for! keep up the good work!
LOL! Glad you found it helpful. I teach at a university as well - so I have so practice helping beginners understand the complexities of design software. More videos are coming! Stay tuned!

Most welcome 😊
Great Video, very helpful! Is there a video to add shadows and lighting? i cant find it if there is one.
I meant to make one - but if you watch one of my other Photoshop videos with Light and Shadows - it's the same basic principles. Just apply the same techniques! I will be redoing these videos in the near future. I hope to get it all updated for you!
