How much are you asking?

Best friend growing up parents had a 68 442! Badass 😊
We had this exact same car as our family car in the 70s great car ours was blue.
A Beauty : one of Best years , Id say worth $ 10,000 as it sits
$3,000 at BEST. And I mean AT BEST ...
Beautiful car but that design really needed four headlights not two.
Love it!
That flap that is open sus immediately after I give it gas
Dam i miss Pontiac and Oldsmobile 😢
The gentlemans hot rod, probably has the 400ci four barrel 😎🤘 my dad had the 69 grand prix she was a beast 😎👍
Nice car, but if you’re going to try to make it look stock, do a little research, obviously they did a lot of extensive work. It wouldn’t take that much to make it a lot closer, if that’s the look you’re going for.
What’re you going on about? This car would fool about anyone. 😂 other than the exhaust trumpet/trumpet cut outs and some bucket seats I’d say it’s got everything besides the vin tag.
@ LoL How do you tell someone you don’t know anything about Oldsmobile? Listen to you! LOL Its a decent Cutlass, kinda dressed to look like a 442, but not really. Very little is correct.
@@Musclecar1972 that grant steering wheel in my account profile photo is in a 1971 cutlass s holiday coupe that was ordered with a 455, th400, and gm 12 bolt rear end. The motor was pulled from a 69 lineup and is from a hurst 442, which I believe came back as a “w30 h/o 455” for technical terms. Cars beautiful too. The only thing this cars missing body wise is the bumper cutouts for the exhaust trumpets and the spoiler. Grills are correct, hoods correct, badge placement is correct, and you could get the 442’s with a bench seat🤷🏻♂️ it’s got a 455 I’m assuming has the 4 barrel carb, most likely has a Muncie 4 speed, and I’m gonna guess, dual exhaust…. Which is what “4 4 2” stood for. 4 barrel carb. 4 speed trans, 2 as in dual exhaust.
@ LOL, Sorry Chief, much of what you say here is absolutely incorrect! Now, ask me how I know this. If you want me to correct you, just ask, I’m not being a snot, but you really don’t know what you’re talking about in this case.
@ I know exactly what I’m talking about. I have a catalogue in my garage and have been obsessed with these cars. AGAIN.. BODY WISE all this car is missing is the rear bumper and spoiler.. from the rear quarters up is valid and is proper. You gonna tell me I’m wrong about what 442 means as well? Love to see that😂
Beautiful. My husband had a ‘72 Buick Skylark…same color ❤❤❤❤
I love the design of this and I would invest in this to get it back to looking amazing, but right now I am fixing up a 4th generation Firebird Formula.
Good luck with the Firebird!
what pedal did you use
My dad has a ‘73 Grand Prix. Still running
In 89 lol!! I pulled a 455 out of a Buick Electra 1969 big old boat! Had no idea what it was!other than a big block! Lol put it in a 75 century 2 door!! Man, that thing could pull in and pass a 5.0 mustang every time!! Turns out, that was the rocket motor they put in that land boat electra!!
This car is 2JZ or 4200 ready
It has the 1972 grill and the 1971 tail lights. Beautiful car. The 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix is my favorite car ever made on the planet. I have a black one 😊
Love those 70 72 Grand Prix and cutlass supreme and Monte Carlo they were built with better quality than new cars now
Big Bad GP Baby 😅
Beautiful
Love those Pontiac ralleye wheels...especially on the Trans-Am
Had the '72 with 400/6.6ltr, and sold it for 250$ to buy a '77 slant-6 Plymouth. WE all make mistakes .... lol ~
Nice. I had a '72 Buick Skylark which was basically the same car. Loved it.
I have a 75 gp still runs like a champ
My uncle Gary had the same exact car same exact colors same exact rims I was born in 72
Any year GP is beautiful, but the '69 - '73 wow
My 69 grand Prix model J was sweet
I had a 73 Chevy Nova
To me, this is the best car Pontiac ever made. Best in the sense of the most desirable, due to the combination of its styling, amenities, and power. Why the guy did not rotate his phone 90 degrees so we could see the entire car will always be a mystery. As is the absence of footage of the car's legendary interior.
Absolutely love the '71 & '72!!!
Personally, I prefer the dual style headlights from a couple years earlier, but this is still one beautiful machine...I have 2 Stutz cars that were based on this gen Gran Prix...in Hotwheels form.
Had one of those here in the UK, silver with a black vinyl top. Monster, sold it in 1980 for £300.
Sounds nice as hell bro like the deep sound of it the rumbling sound
Love the 69 to 72 Grand Prix. I had a 72 SJ back in the day. That 455 coupled with the 400 turbo hydro tranny was a great combo, would chirp the tires when it hit second gear. Not sure what the guy was thinking when he took video and didn’t include a shot of that great interior they had.
The camera is a shame ! 🤷🏻
It almost glided, then just a little nudge and you're sailing. A kick and you're locked in. She's a lady in the streets but a freak in the bed.
I just send my Quadrajets to the Carburetor Clinic. They always get it right.
I have a '72 SSJ and I absolutely love it. I chose it over a GTO.
Really a toss-up. GTO with Ram-air..., though choice.
Awww man my dad had a 70 he said choose the gran Prix or a 79 Chevrolet Monte Carlo it was around the same year training day came out and I choose the Monte
Pontiac hit a home run. Perfect balance of aggressiveness, sport & class. 53 years old and looks that put today's vehicles to shame.
Beautiful car. Did you know that 69 the hood was the longest Hood Pontiac ever made I didn't know that. I guess I do now
Like the Super Stock OEM rims the best
And these definitely are not them.
Ten out of ten.
Whats the name of this band
Probably yes, I let my 350 eng 4 barrel carb dor a week, then when I came back pomp de gas pedal over 10 times , before starting the car and now dosennt want to starte, may be tomorrow what you think
The basics first check for spark, do you have enough fuel in the gas tank, see if your accelerator pump is actually working, is the carburetor getting fuel? maybe your fuel pump stopped working, maybe a clogged fuel filter, always check the basics first.
I had a 72 model J metallic blue with black roof . Man do I miss Pontiacs
I was gonna get an Edelbrock for my 350 small block and I was wondering if I needed an adapter plate for the carburetor
If you have the original OEM spread bore intake manifold you will need an adapter, if you have an aftermarket square bore intake manifold you do not need one.
Sounds beautiful
Is this the amazon adaptor? And if so what kind of carb. Thanks in advance sounds healthy.
Music to my ears man!!
