2003 mitsubishi galant rear shock replacement
Replacing rear shock for 2003 Mitsubishi galant. My apology guys i was not able to show full detail. Installing shock is very easy. You will have to maneuver the shock and slide into top hole tighten and then adjust the level to insert in the bottom.
Once again guys please do on your own responsibility. If not sure how to do it then have it done by professional mechanic. Thanks for watching.

Say hi to your daughter

this is like 10% of the job.
Do 2006part can work for2001galant car
Great video my friend!! Thank you for making this!!
Do u need to grice th bearing before puting it in
Thank you sir!!
Thanks man, gonna attempt over the weekend 👍🏼👍🏼
What’s that’s tool called
Don’t forget to pump your brakes, in PARK, before trying to drive, after you change the pads! This is very important for you first timers out there.
First, thank you for the video, very helpful in getting me started on what tools I need. I am amazed at how dirty and corroded your Galant is though. Mine is now several years older than in this video and still looks newish. I am curious what climate you live in to cause that? I have lived all over the US from AZ to GA and even took it to Germany and back. Crazy how wear can be so drastically different.
Bet it’s never been flushed and or used tap water in there. That will cause it to get that dirty that be my guess.
did u have to install a gasket?
Yes
@@Djwasi420 what kind of gasket and where did u buy it from? is it the rubber seal goes around the thermostat or a gasket goes between thermostat and housing cover? can u specify
great video! what was the tool your brother used ???
I have 04 galant i used bar's sealer not my heat is warm not hot at all you think the flash will do it?thank you
omg worse thing i seen. you suppose to film everthing
buy a tripod so you can film what you doing
Did he really just try installing the pad backwards??
Thanks for this. Now I know how to do mine.
🔥🔥🔥 Great video thanks for the help
Thanks for explaining things so clearly.
Mitsubishi has hidden the filter. Where is it?
Nice video. But dont forget put wd40 in the rusty place
Was your car over heating??
thank you for posting this mate 👍🌞
Our a.c./heater don't work, any suggestions?
What about the water pump?
Flush the heater core. Might be a thermostat that is stuck in the open position.
Is it the Same type of assembly for the 98 galant?
Wesley Reid not sure sorry
I thought it is a bad idea to place the brake pads faced down on the dirty ground. Are they going to get contaminated? Shouldn't you supposed to apply the quiet grease at the back to the pads and then attach the shim plates on them?
you the best!!
my guy!! thank you!!
I'm pretty sure you want to use a jack... so you can drop the car when emptying the oil to level it out then crank it back up for the rest of the work
Hey! Can you do a vid on fixing the heater too. I have the same ride my dude. Thanks for the vid as well.
Which component of heater? i have video of radiator and thermostat hope thats help.
Luckily you have so much room! Have to do this on a V-6 Galant...
I just finished my brake pads and rotors. Thank you for your help
Thank you
Good video, I was able to understand everything completely
Also for when your changing your front brakes it’s always a good Idea to turn the wheel to the left or right depending on which side you are on so you can have access the the inside brake pads and also you can use a bungie cord to suspend the caliper
After putting the distilled water in. I have to run the car for a little and turn on the heat. But my heat doesn't work in my car. Should that matter?
...LOL!!,wrench 17 inches?...no,17 MILIMITERS (metric).
I know this is an old video but I have a 2001 Eclipse GS doing the same thing also. The hose on the left gets hot but the hose on the right doesn't heat up. I'll try the water hose trick, very slowly, and see if I have any luck. From Pickens County S. Carolina, thank you for the video.
L Roper your heater is clogged mate
So what happened did you fix it? My rs is also doing this
forgot to bleed the air out
rajupanday163
Also outside pad doesn't get mixed with inside pad.. They're different.. Inside pad have a small clip attached to it..
Thanks for the video. Just want to point out that is not where you put the grease. You use the brake grease in the channels where the brake shoes slide. You also put some on the bolts where the caliper slides (not the caliper bracket, but the caliper itself slides on a set of smooth bolts)
did you have any problems with air in the system??????

How did you get the tire off with the middle part on
What is the that special tool you used for the brake caliber?
its called Brake Caliper Ratcheting Spreader. There on Ebay for about 50 bucks.
You can use a c clamp too.
Still got water in the reservoir? What do I do?
