I have a question to you. I want to buy Topaz ai but i have only 8 Gb vram and 32 Ram. I need just to upscale my final shorts and dont know of Topaz does is worth it for me. Idk if Comfyui's Upscale is enough
Well I will say that I was using Topaz AI pretty successfully back when I was running on my M2 Mac Mini, which definitely didn't have that much graphical horsepower. It did take a little longer to upscale than my current computer, but it wasn't that unreasonable. If there's a way that you can test the software on your computer before purchasing it I would recommend doing that, but I don't know if it's possible. I personally love Topaz though and use it to polish off almost all of my shorts.

@@CGzzzzzzzzzzz oh you can actually achieve img2img by loading the default comfy workflow, and then instead of plugging in an empty latent to your ksampler, replace that with a load image node instead. That way the AI dreams over an existing image, instead of empty noise. You'll first have to encode the image into latent space though, so place the nodes in the following order: load image > vae encode > ksampler Then in ksampler set the noise to around 0.5 and play with it from there. Setting it to 0 will make zero changes to your input image, and setting it to 1.0 will replace it entirely with ai stuff. So play along that spectrum
