I have climbed Jebel Musa, but later at Cairo when I asked the Egyptian if the story is true, he answered...That is not our story it is theirs...pointing his nose in the direction of Israel.. indeed scholars find no historical or archeological evidence to support that Moses and the Exodus happened. You're in the wrong country! The REAL Mt Sinai is in Saudi Arabia. It's in the Land of Midian, which is in Saudi Arabia. It's called Jabal Maqla, which means Mountain of Moses. The mountain in the Sinai peninsula was named as Mt Sinai by Emperor Constantine's wife. And is accepted as such by the Catholic Church. There is absolutely no evidence of any Israelites near that mountain. All the evidence is around Jabal Maqla in Saudi Arabia.
