The true Mount Sinai is Jebal Maqla at the range of Jebel Al Lawz in Saudi Arabia, in the ancient land of Midian. Not this mountain. This mountain has become the traditional Mount Sinai due to its location where St. Catherine's Monastery is located, from the 4th Century A.D. However, there is absolutely NO archaeological evidence that this site is the true Mount of Moses. If we follow all the clues given to us in the Bible book of Exodus, we will go to Midian to Jebel Al Lawz. and rhe true Red Sea Crossing at the Gulf of Aqaba at a place called Nuweiba Beach, called Pihahiroth in ancient times. I've flown over it and it is too barren to support several million Jews and their flocks! Do you really think Moses and the Israelites would have lived there 40 years? All the places mentioned in the Bible are still to be found in Saudi. Become educated and read the Bible and learn what it teaches.
