RHS140 hydrofoil pacing JetCat Blue Fin on first passenger carrying trip in 1991. Blue Fin followed by sisterships Sea Eagle and Sir David Martin ending 26 year reign of hydrofoils on the Manly-Circular Quay run. Of the four remaining hydrofoils at this time, Long Reef (1968) Manly (1984) and Sydney (1985) Curl Curl, renamed Spargi, survives in Italy as of 2016.

Manu Wai is the last surviving intact PT20 hydrofoil afloat as of December 2015. Restoration as an historic vessel for use in Australia planned for 2016. Seen here on Cowan Creek, Broken Bay in winter 1997.
