@@adamchoe7328 basically yes. the larger the ratio of the CN based workers is, the slower the pace will be.
@@kch0625 hey thanks. My question was specifically for Tiktok US office. Do they have normal hour during LNY or shorter hour or etc?
@@adamchoe7328 I was talking about the US office actually. Take my team as example, the working pace was slowed down as most of our colleagues are based in CN, which means that lots of collaborative projects were not making progress. We can also just have normal working hours. While there are also some teams working independently in the states. In this case, it would be no difference during LNY.

how do you become a software engineer? what is the education needed to become a software engineer? what type of work do you do? is it only just coding, or what other type of work do you do
bachelor in computer science
did tiktok ask you leetcode hard? did they grill hard on past experience on behavioral round?
They tend not to care too much about Leetcode. So I was asked at most medium questions, but the past experiences is quite important.
