I love the style of your home and your plants are unreal! You can see the years of love and dedication in how gorgeous the plants are. My monstera is 4 years old too, but I'd rather take a top cut than and grow it out again. I haven't looked other other monsteras for the same reason. They demand so much space and if I move, I don't know how difficult she will be to get through a doorway soon.

Loved the video! Just a little pronunciation tip: Anthurium Friedrichsthalii doesn't have any "sh" sound in it. You can separate it like this: "Frie-drichs-ta-li-i" :)

Where did you get the trellis for your hoya obovata?

Two of your favorite plants are also my favorites - the silver dollar vine which I need to repot because it stated to produce smaller leaves. I have mine on 2 hoop trellises. The other favorite is the Hoya obovata which is on a similar trellis to yours and is also massive and is currently flowering. Ficus is a diva genus! Any time you move them, they throw a fit but dropping leaves. My Ficus triangularis is in need of a repot but Imam dreading the tantrum…You have a fantastic collection!

It’s funny how big that pot looked until the monstera was in it! Mine is in 11 inch and when I took it outside to water it tonight her aroids are growing out the bottom and roots! I don’t want to go into a bigger pot. 😅

I’ve heard that sometimes to get back the variegation on Alocasia you have to shock them. Like changing the environment or repotting or something like that. Hopefully the repotting does that for you

I like how you don't stress yourself about your plants. Gardening is supposed to be relaxing, and by the way, you look gorgeous with your new hair style.

I place used dryer sheets, paper towel or brown grocery bags to cover the holes in the bottom of my pot. Keep soil from coming out the bottom. 👍🏾Video. Hope you enjoyed your vacation💚 🪴Happy Planting🌿

The beneficial insects are so small you don’t even notice them. Just forget about them same as you forget about looking for pests and treating the plants at some point. They aren’t going to go anywhere near people. They are not interested in us. They are totally safe and harmless and if you are lucky they’ll stay in your plants and you won’t have to worry about pests again. It’s like giving a vaccine to your child. It’s something you just do out of love
