@StormOS_Dev_Channel it took me about 2 months to fully understand Gentoo. Unfortunately, Gentoo requires lots of baby sitting and understanding... and of course lots and lots of compiling 😅 the thing about gentoo is that there are times that you are required to mask, or unmask, change use flags.. etc etc... sometimes also some package collisions etc lots and lots of research and time..

@@Ja.KooLit yeah that's why im contemplating going back to arch or another of your supported distros, gentoo is just too involved it seems.

@@Doorhinge64 just uninstall the package and delete ~/.config/hypr as I state on the readme, I have tried adding, it made my system unstable if you want from scratch, reformat or only ricing, just delete the appropriate directories in ~/.config

I wouldnt say minimalistic but it rans on my more than 10 yrs old laptop so I think its fine although, that laptop have a 2 core 4 threads and 8gb ram

@ which browser is best suited with your arch-hyperland configuration? I am asking because the chrome is taking systems font language, so when can I change the font for the system in your configuration? Thanks!! I like your configuration and your efforts for it

@@shubhamku044 I wouldnt say it is best suited but any electron based apps like chrome is sometimes does not play well with hyprland in general I always use firefox eversince

you can create another user and install another dots on that

​@@Ja.KooLit Sorry, I expressed myself badly 😅 What I actually wanted to know was how did you login at 6:51, without any login button. Did you use a command of some sort? EDIT: I was asking that because I was struggling to log in. But, after further inspection of your sddm 2 github page, I discovered that my log in button was, by default, not visible. So I turned it visible and now I can log in more easily, and that's how I personally prefer. Now, may I ask you: why did you do that by default? Is this configuration more quick/efficient for login, or is it more aesthetically pleasant? Thx for the attention!

@murisco6939 2:59 normal vanilla dont have button either. But you dont need a button after typing your pw, simply press Enter or Return
