You will keep breaking the latch! Need to replace the original door seals. The seals keep the correct tension on the latch. The seals loose the flex and people doing makeshift seals to keep the doors from rattling and leaking air. All the extra force from slamming doors then wears out latch and striker.

My truck doin this

I’ve had three different freightliners in the last 18 years where the bunk blower stopped working. Every time it was the PDM, which is the fuse box in the b-pillar. They had water damage from rain water leaking into the cab. If someone knows where to seal it so it won’t leak that would be appreciated but now after replacing the last one I put it in a ziplock bag and installed the screws from the inside of the bag and so far it’s been two years trouble free.

Great video, and I'm glad I found it! I had the same idea, but I bought a 2" inner diameter stainless sleeve, and the pipe outer diameter turned out to be 2.14". How flexible are those sleeves in terms of expansion? Thanks!

Hey thank you so much for this video. I'm having similar issues but I don't believe it's my fuse. The fan doesn't come on at all so either the motor is bad or I don't have enough pressure in the system. I would have never known about that fuse box right behind the seat. Good running out there for you partner

mine has like an inch gap it leaks so much air and water like im outside also wind move door alot i can put 2 fingers in gap i changed weather strip and hinges striker still there not broken not sure why its this bad

HEy, that little screw in the middle that has the two-rubber gasket, is that screw suppose too be tight or slack? I made a mistake in loosening it, while it was inside the valve, but I wasn't sure if it was loose before I bothered it.

Does the whole Air Dryer need to be unmounted to replace the Release Valve?

I replaced the middle O rings last year with some new purple ones from the rain forest. They are leaking again 8 months later.

What was the issue?

Next time lower your seat all the way down and u will be able to open the fuse box door without unscrewing

I dont have power to muy ac compresor have u had that issue
