【Fushimi Inari/Ukai】Traditional Japan Scenery in Kyoto & Gifu
This trip to Japan took us to traditional shrines in Kyoto. I enjoyed traditional Kyoto scenery such as Fushimi Inari with its many red torii gates and Sanzen-in Temple on top of a mountain where one can feel the serenity of a Zen-like atmosphere.
In the evening, I enjoyed the summer tradition of “Ukai (cormorant fishing)” on the Nagara River in Gifu Prefecture from a boat.
I hope everyone enjoyed the Japanese summer and the traditional Japanese spectacle!

Thank you for your comment! Yes,you can get from Hiroshia to Matsuyama. I recommend you take a ship for 1 hour. Fare is 8,000 yen.Have fun traveling around Japan! ようこそ日本へ！
Instead of Kuromon, I suggest go to Kizu instead. The price is way cheaper and it's a more traditional fish market; just be sure to ride the 5 am train to eat the seafood bowl in Kizu if you like raw fish (you usually see a small line already)
