I am currently in the process of lifting my 2nd gen XB. I considered a truck conversion also but with kids it isn't practical atm. I hope to achieve unique overlandish vehicle that I can take to local car meets just for fun. I am tired of the lowered car life on my daily as well. I know it looks nice slammed but it sucks to drive imo...plus everyone drops their box...Lifting them is unique/rare which I like.

Im enjoying my 2011 forester limited. I got it fully loaded with all the options, and it’s at 91,250 miles at this moment. No accidents and all services performed at the local dealer. I can’t complain at all. Haven’t had any major repairs, knock on wood

I was surprised at the lower mpg.

2018 Subaru Forester, 6MT, Cleveland Ohio. I'm at 65k miles, I just got 25.2mpg as my lowest ever (Very cold this winter in Cleveland), I get 32mpg in the summer. Hauls my wife, 2 kids, and 1k pound teardrop trailer, AWD tears through 19 inches of unplowed snow during storms, and all the power I need.

I rode in some of these in Thailand - they are spacious and comfortable. I think maybe they do not sell them here because the engine seems a bit close to the driver compaired to other amaerican vans
