I-11 from Las Vegas to Hwy 95 South into Needles, California and I-40 to Arizona.

Another motorcycle ride along that takes us from Boulder City NV. to Las Vegas then back to Boulder City along I-11. We turn On to US Hwy 95 and head south to Needles California. After a quick trip to say we have been to Cali we jump back on I-40 east and make it back to Arizona.

This starts off our 9 day vacation where we travel over 3600 miles and 8 states. Today we are putting ourselves to the test of riding 1000k miles in under 24 hours. Loaded down with camping gear for the rest of the week. Ride with us along I40 west and enjoy a couple stops along the way. Russel's travel center car museum and Winslow Arizona. It's beautiful but gets very muddy if it rains. I would recommend a 4x4.
Yes. High clearance 4x4 for sure. We are in a Ram 1500. It was dry then but did have rain coming in as we drove.
What road are you on
We are near the little town of Amalia N.M. We drove the Valle Vidal Road following the Costilla Creek. From Questa go north on 522, turn at Costilla on 196. Follow that past Amalia. That whole area is very pretty but I recommend high clearance and 4x4.

Thanks for watching. We were in a Ram 1500. This first stretch is doable in most vehicles unless they have gotten a lot of rain. This area is not too far off paved road and should be doable on one tank of fuel. There are other videos that show the rest of this drive which took us a back way from Questa to Cimmaron. That entire drive might require a higher profile vehicle but just the section in this video should be fine. We tend to carry extra fuel wherever we go just in case.
I have a place at the end of the dirt road at the start. I always wondered where and how high up they took the horses.
Yeah. It's pretty much the same every year. This was the 1 hour ride. They have longer ones that might be different. From my understanding they have to pay a property owner per horse per day to go even that far. I really miss when Bitter Creek guest ranch was around. They had rides up to the old mining stuff and some of the guides would tell the history behind them.
@@The.Wheelers the bitter creek group went behind our place all the time. Had they picked up their poop as agreed, we probably would have let them keep crossing our property. Unfortunately, the guy that ran it rarely kept his word. Nice trail. Thanks for the video of the new trail.

Lake Meed and Hoover Dam was really neat, and I learned a lot from your information. Boulder City is a pretty town. Las Vegas was unbelievable. The artwork and fountain were beautiful. Great job on videoing and information on all of it. ❤
