Ebrahim Pourbaqer - Monday
Artist: Ebrahim Pourbaqer
Album: Single
Year: 2010
This 16th-century a cappella piece is contrapuntal, influenced by the sound produced by the larynx of a child with PDD autism who has a hypofunction of the throat. The melodic lines and harmonies may seem somewhat repetitive. Efforts have been made to preserve this quality so that the child can enjoy listening to it.

It's beyond ' beautiful ' ... It is a soaring heartbeat hymn ... A detour into the thermal currents affording glider views , perspective , And solace ...

One of the many songs I saw Jerry Jeff and company play at the Armadillo World Headquarters. Still can't believe they tore it down. It should have been made an historical site for all of the great music and musicians that played there.
Slim shady
❤❤❤

Cela fait 40 ans que je suis John Surman, c'est une musique qui va droit au cœur, Merci !!!
WHY did all this time they shove that music down the mind of the circa 80s child with the nonsense they did and yet to discover Jeffrey until today? I even did a show with Sammy Davis Jr's pianist of almost 20 years, and I did my own homework, knowing that most of these singers covered the songs they sung... Sammy covered, and I discovered Jeffrey. Why so late? Why all that other mainstream garbage? WHY? Why can't all the mainstream garbage take a lesson from this pure talented musician? RIP Jeffrey... I'm glad you had a life and shared some very good contributions. Thank you.
I grew up in the correct part of history for this to be a part of my musical life, and so I am very thankful.
Don't ya just hate it when the mixer makes the music louder than the singer
Lots of great musician artists back then! RIP Gypsy Outlaw.
Insane
I prefer over Guy Clark
Wow
Amazing music amazing art ❤
Listened to this song while working on a horse ranch in cisco tx Great times
Stunning
"L.A. Freeway" is a song written by Guy Clark in 1970 RIP
I spent 1973 I'm LA THIS SONG HELPED PROPEL ME BACK TO TEXAS
Same here only back to Kansas
What was it like compared to today? Bet it was better times, but wild times. It's wild times now, but probably not the "Better" wild times. The world has gone mad these days.
Che meraviglia thanks 🙏🌺
True Story: Was working at the Whole Foods (Barton Creek, now gone) in 1985, stocking on the juice aisle. Looked up and saw a customer reading juice labels, obviously puzzled by same. I got up off the floor and walked over to him and asked if I could help. Soon realized it was JJW. Did what all fans do in that situation and he gave me that immense smile. Basically he wanted a case of R.W. Knudsen Black Cherry Juice, which I promptly retrieved from the warehouse. He was just a nice as we all thought. He was something special.
RIP Guy Clark
One of the best RIP
My God but I wished I had wrote this song!
Super!
RIP Guy Clark
My life would have not been the same without this man's music. RIP Jerry Jeff, thank you
❤
Great song. I was familiar with it because of the comeback try by "Spanky and Our Gang" in the mid-1970s. They gave a whirl with country but I don't think it worked out for them at least not commercially. Spanky was such a natural vocalist. In the end I think her weight gain worked against her. Her earlier "run" may have ended because of the word "damn" in a song title!
sehr schön 😊
I absolutely love this!
Such a magnificent melodious interpretation of this wonderful composition. I've always loved Ahmad Jamal's style ever since I was a child, such a unique way of playing and exquisite timing---the way he punctuates the notes and holds them.
I’m so happy I finally found this recording! Haven’t heard it for 20 years, I didn’t even know what to google to find it! Beautiful ❤
A Sphix never die!
More poignant now that JJW's gone
I can imagine the nostalgy listening to this song in 2023 after hearing it first in 1972 and growing with it.
This is from 1973!
@@wilsonnperez2101 Guy Clark wrote this song and Jerry Jeff first released it 1972.
Are they singing "Thank you baby" at the end? No idea why they're so low or unclear in the mix but it makes it 100 times more exciting. Real people, really singing; one of the greatest endings to a song of all time.
I love this song you guys did a great gob. And getting loaded well someone had to. I
Jerry Jeff introduced me to Robert Earl Keen , and Gary P. Nunn and Ray Wylie Hubbard I thought I was going to get to meet Ray Wylie at a Concert here in Del Rio but Sadly he and his wife both had COVID at the time.
Just my Personal preference but I like Jerry Jeff's voice and version better. But then I have to say I didn't even know who Guy Clark was till I looked for a version with Lyrics this Morning.
true jazz of our time great masterpiece
Started listening to Jerry Jeff at 16.Under the influence of him and Jack Kerouac by 19 I hitch hiked from Jersey up through Canada to California and back with a friend. Best summer of my life. Still a huge fan, and still makes me laugh and cry. RIP
can't even say
Wonder which part was sampled by Eminem?

I wonder how much $ he made off Mr. Bojangles? A great tune most people don't know he wrote.
This is one of the best songs ever recorded.
And private city is worth listening to~~
