Autodesk Revit- Student-Built House: Framing Plan
Просмотров 52010 месяцев назад
This video is to help my architecture students create a framing plan from a normal floor plan view in Autodesk Revit 2024. It shows how to create parts from walls, create a filter to hide parts with certain characteristics, and how to apply that filter to a drawing view so all non-wood layers of the wall can be hidden.

I have a pulley designed for belt driven. I could just use a nut and bokt through the centre to mount on a piece of timber but then their would be the friction as the wheel spins. Which item do i need. A type of bearing that keeps friction down and things spinnjng smoothly? How should i attach the wheel so it spins freely ready for a belt to wrap around it.

Hello! I'm looking for something like this, to make the drill bit of a bench drill go up and down. This is done on a 3D printer, and do you have the files? Thanks.

When I tried, the wire gets too hot since it draws too much current from the battery. Is it true in your case?

Is there ever a case when the four bar linkage could lay completely flat, and still provide mechanical advantage in force if there were an object laying on top of the linkage system?

I hope you’re doing well! I have a couple of ideas for an auto disengaging lead screw nut that I’d like to share with you. Segmented Nut Design: This would involve the nut being split into 2 or 4 pieces, held together by a spring. When the screw hits a stop, a spreader cone would disengage the nut. Cone-Shaped Ramp Nut: In this idea, a cone-shaped ramp nut could be positioned at the end of the shaft or along it with a jam nut. A spring-loaded half nut would then roll up onto the ramp to disengage. I think both concepts could offer some interesting functionality. Let me know your thoughts, and if you’d like to chat further! Best, Dean

Sure Form??? My arse is it pronounced like that. I assume you are somewhere in deepest America, whereas I'm a Brit and was taught by a very able carpenter in the late 1970's that it is pronounced like it is spelt, as in Sur form or Sir form. I sincerely hope you don't tell people that you speak English like so many other Americans do. Remember, you speak American which is a very crooked and wonky version of English which also includes dreadful spellings too.

Does/should the short section line exist where it goes through the hole? I wonder if this is one of those things with two school of thought. I was taught you don't put section lines on air, only on the object.
