The pharmacy could definitely pay for your health insurance as owners of the C-Corp. However, this benefit would have to be made available to all eligible employees. This would be recorded on the company's books as Employee Health Insurance expense.

Yes you can, but the 5% seller note has to be on standby (not payments) for the length of the loan.

Thanks for taking the time to view the video and comment. The business has changed a lot over the past few years. Margins have decreased and competition from PBMs in particular has made things more difficult. However more than ever an independent has more options in terms of lines of business than ever before from immunizations, point of care testing, labs, compounding, LTC etc. Independent pharmacies have to adapt to the changing healthcare market and the ones who do will capitalize on the changing environment. Kim - we own and operate independent pharmacies. We help people every day open pharmacies so it is definitely possible. As for opening with a virtual pharmacist, I do not see this in the near future as we have not heard any rumors regarding it. They are starting to allow technicians to do much more such as immunizations and work telepharmacy locations.
