I love that you are so accepting of all different types of "diets", I have been a vegetarian for most of my life, tried to be really strict plant based but some foods are just so hard to replace (some cheeses...) so now I'm eating plant based about 80% of the time and vegetarian the rest of the time. It does eliminate a lot of foods, you can't just buy a croissant whenever you are hungry which can sometimes be a good thing but you shouldn't feel deprived... Putting a label on yourself can be so hard, it's okay to not be something a 100%.

Ohh, I always love watching your videos but I felt so connected watching the last part. I grew up in the exact same way and an anxiety disorder transformed my connection to food. I now feel the same way about it as you. No punishments, no binge eating because "I can't have this tomorrow so I better finish everything today", no calorie checks, ... Food is neutral and I feel safe eating what I want when I want it, food will always be there and that feeling is so reassuring. It's definitely hard! I have a 5-year-old daughter and the way kids approach food is so interesting, they are intuitive eaters from birth and I will do anything to prevent her from ever having to worry about food/calorie intake or have a bad relationship with food.
