NJ Transit Rail Operations 40th Anniversary Express Pulled by 2 ALP46s and 2 F40PH-2Cat Locomotives
On September 30, 2023 New Jersey Transit and United Railroad Historical Society of NJ came together to celebrate NJ Transit's 40th Anniversary by hosting a train ride from New York Penn Station, stopping at South Amboy for the famous engine change from electric to diesel, stopping at Bay Head for lunch and then headed back North to Hoboken Terminal for the “Meet the Heritage Fleet” Equipment Display.
Afterwards we went to Newark Penn Station to train watch and that ended our exciting day. We hope you enjoy the video! Thank you for watching!
