Just purchased this but am a little worried about getting it wrong! This video says a “13mm drill bit”for the end pin jack hole but the downloaded installation guide says to use a “12mm drill bit” can someone please clarify for me?

A few weeks after having the batteries in my Aer CM (1st gen) replaced by an expert amp technician (who did his research but has since retired most technicians in my area are either too busy or simply not keen to help with Aer), I have lost all power, even when plugged into mains...? Fuse looks fine? Please help Aer guitar community - I once loved this amp!! Thank you!

Greetings from USA. AER amps sound very nice, but I havent seen any AER amps in person. I think Buzz Aldrin punched somebody out for aggressively accusing NASA of not really landing on the moon. For those who do not know, Buzz Aldrin was a Rocket Man. As for the poor Guy, who got knocked out, if I recall correctly, I think his name was Buddy. I might be wrong but before he wakes up, I think its gonna be a long, long time. Great playing. 😊

Hello, Can you please tell, what is the SLP difference between Compact 60 and Compact XL?

I was wondering how this amazing little amp would cope with steelstring guitars? I understood that this is an even better and more nuanced version of the Compact 60 with a tweeter, more fx and even an "insert" plug. My interest goes more to the Classic but I play excluselively steelstring (Taylor 214CE).

Thanks for your review of the Compact Classic Pro. I’ve had one of these amplifiers for quite some time and love it’s clean beautiful tone when playing my cutaway classical guitar which has an early LR Baggs undersaddle pickup. I mainly play nylon string guitar but have, as a senior “bucket list” project made an OM size steel string guitar and intend to have an LR Baggs fitted to it. I’ll be interested to see how it sounds through the Compact Classic. In the past I’ve played steel string guitars through a Roland AC60 using both its reverb and chorus. In my senior years I’d like to use just one amplifier and sell the Roland. I think I might have to roll back the treble a bit on the AER for the steel string given this AER is voiced for classical instruments and has a tweeter.

Exemplary tone as always! I never leave the house for a show without my Compact 60/4 (and sometimes my Alpha Plus too if I want to run in stereo). Just perfection!
