    This is a phenomenal tiny home. Love the attention to detail in the design & meticulous craftsmanship. Starting with the Scandinavian appeal & the huge windows allowing amazing views of the outside- it's stunning with its simplicity. The drop down desk/table, mini woodstove, floating wooden shelves, countertops pot rack, mini dishwasher, & storage everywhere, the kitchen & living areas are perfection. The bathroom is fantastic with one exception- I'd need to find a way to keep the shower & tub (a necessity for me.) I've had issues with combo washer/dryer & want stackable unit. The bathroom tile work is gorgeous. The bedroom is exactly what I need; especially with all the storage including gas struts for under bed storage. Several questions; is there a water filtration system? That's important. Another important thing I didn't see is an air exchange system like Lunos e2 venting system? That's critical to prevent mold problems. I'm looking at building likely during the 2nd half of 2024. Currently have 2 homes (one is rented out) & plan to sell both & relocate from NJ shore to PNW. Approximately how long would build time be for this model? Thanks

    • @bjarnebuilds
      @bjarnebuilds Год назад

      Hi Susan. Glad you like our home, thanks for the kind words. Water filtration can be installed if needed and there are passive air vents installed and another exhaust fan that's not in the video. Ventilation is important and with passive air vents, a mini split that has both AC and Heat + the wood stove you get great air circulation. Build time is around 2- 3 months with our entire team working together. Please reach out with any other questions: bjarne@salenadventurevans.com or on our website: www.bjarnebuilds.com

    Very nice, but can you do custom builds, or go by the plans of another Tiny Builder? I’d like to sell my home and put a Tiny somewhere in the Rogue River Valley. I would need more square footage, with two bedrooms on the main floor. A loft could only be used for storage. And before I consider moving, I’d need to know where to find state and local laws, regulations, etc. At this point, I’m assuming these are governed mostly by the County Departments.

      Yeah the flow of the Tiny Home movement is wonderful in so many ways and the living situation is great on so many levels. This is actually a big kitchen compare with most tiny homes out there. The amazing thing with these houses is that you can make the kitchen bigger if you want, you just have to compromise on other things in the house like smaller livingroom for example or a different layout with more focus on a kitchen would be my suggestion.

      The owner is from Sweden but living in Hood River OR where we built these houses and adventure vans. Check out our website for more info: www.bjarnebuilds.com So that's why we like the Scandinavien design. • @bjarnebuilds
      @bjarnebuilds Год назад

      There is already a hot water heater that works great and solar panels are only good if you add a lot of batteries that can actually store all that energy. The entire reason why you want solar panels would be to get some power from the sun, but that needs to be stored somewhere which means adding batteries and we do those builds as well. Done it for several years and works great in all our vans that are of grid. You just have to be aware that adding solar panels are easy and not that expansive compare to the batteries you need.

      Do you know why it's 8,4 ft wide? Watch the film again and you understand :) Yeah of course you can do double and put together on sight. Endless of possibilities and that's one of many reasons why we love this.

    • @sjladuke75
      @sjladuke75 Год назад

      Anything larger in width would require special permits for transport. There is 13' maximum height limit as well. There are wider THOWs made but they're not meant to be moved place to place but professionally transported with special road permits to a semi permanent site.
