My husband and I stayed at this resort for 2 weeks from the end of August to middle of September and would not go back even for free. The only good thing in there was the beach and the people. The cockroaches in the room were a daily visit. There is NO sugar in Cuba and the mosquitos are a nuisance because there is no spray to fumigate,
Instead of music it’d be more helpful if you included commentary.

Is the airport fairly easy to find your way around?
Yes
I paid for the VIP service. You get private transportation to the airport instead of riding on the bus, they get your luggage while you wait in the VIP lounge and take you to the front of the line through customs to your transportation to your resort.
Did they fingerprint you. I heard they do it now for some odd reason
We always get a porter. We give him $10 . It is well worth it. We get to skip the long lines at the scanning of the bags. He takes us right to the Discova counter where we get our ride to the Resort.

I am booked there in September. It kind of looked scary. Mold on the floors and that shower was a bit 🤢. How was your stay? Food n drinks?
The standards in Cuba are much lower then other places. The rooms are very dated but there was no mold in our rooms. Food was decent- for Cuba. Staff were excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. Over all it was a good experience. I don’t know if we will go back to Cuba anytime soon but if we did we’d go back to the Royalton Hicacos Resort.
