Changing Mirrors 99-07 Ford F250-F550
Просмотров 113Год назад
This process will be the same for all 99-07 superduty trucks. The only difference is in the connectors on earlier trucks. If you don't have power mirrors, you don't need to worry about any connections.

Changing the dimmer/highbeam switch on 91 ford f250 + channel update

In regards to the superduty getting stolen I have already called insurance and everything like that so we will have to see what happens at the time of recording this video it was about 2 weeks before the upload date. If the truck is returned then I will be doing a lot more videos on it and you might get to learn how to fix the ignition. Update. The truck was found and it brings lots of content ...

I didn't manage to get the end of my video cause I'm super smart. I didn't realize that I had stopped recording and the video cuts out. But this will be a good guide for anybody that needs it.

How to diagnose a bad throttle position sensor 2001 Ford F-350 7.3
He explained more than most videos
dude you skip so much of what we need to see. you are hard to follow
@ldisaak32 yeah it wasn't the best. Hopefully I helped you in some way. Have a great day man.
so annoying that ford dealership has no idea about this stuff. since throttle position sensor went bad on my truck, you can only purchase full assembly for $300+, then have to go back to spend another $100+ on a $5 bracket.
looks similar to a 1980s crown victoria
@Skeeter_Dee that particular cylinder was used in lots of different ford vehicles up until they stopped making the e series vans.
There's two types. Ones that come with the bracket and ones like yours without. Good video though. Thumbs up. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
I had lots of oil headed to the intake and a ton of shaft play...
Sounds like the shaft seals failed on the turbo. Lucky it didn't run away on you.
I got to do mine in my 94. I'll let you know how I do here soon hopefully. Never messed with internal stuff. I went to mechanic class in college, but then ended up driving truck across country for 12 years. Now I'm back messing with my truck for myself trying to save money on repairs. Whats the best lubrication for those? WD40? Silicone spray?
It depends on what your trying to oil. I have never lubed the internal stuff but if you want to oil the lock cylinders I use dry graphite spray. Sprays on wet and drys inside
@@brettfriesen5540Thank you sir! I just got my right side that was broken fixed. And I changed the left one real easy after i figured out the broken one. Thanks for your help.
Why didn’t you just change the sensor?
Because ford updated the part to solve the issues with them failing.
Real nice presentation. Im rebuilding mine rt now. Im beefin it up with the 66-88. New everything. I stripped two of those cartridge bolts. Not off yet, gotta sleep. Thanks. Im gettn rid of the ebp too. I. Just plugging the old pedastal. Kit cost me 320. Not too bad. Good luck and thanks. It helped me. I have parts everywhere.
Good luck with your build.
Is the original style pedal no longer available?
No
Thank you sir. Got the pedal so now I have the bracket coming. What a pain. Lol
Thanks, after watching this I am not sure I really want to do this job?
Very easy
Thanks for the video. It helped me a ton.
Great work and explanation
Great video
Hello there, could I use a fragment of your video for my coldstarting compilation? Of course I will put a link to your original video in the description, increasing the original’s popularity too. Thanks a lot for you answer in advance :) Great to see another wmo user, what's the blend you're running? Or got another starting aids? On 100% wmo I don't think it'd run like that :P
Yeah you can use my video. And I'm running a 60/40 oil to diesel mix with some fuel additives.
you don't know how to type °?
What do you mean?
@@brettfriesen5540 oh you I was just asking cause you typed * instead of °
Excuse me for not being perfect
@@brettfriesen5540 I'm not insulting you. I'm just pointing out that it exists. not everyone knows about it.
@justin kaufman it was 5 am when I put that together. Just woke up and wasn't paying attention lol
That's a great sounding Engine.💪
Bro you literally saved my life! Thank you so much!!
thank you helped alot
Mine turns off is that the same thing? Ja
No that would be caused by somthing totally different
Did you figure yours out mine shuts off too
Skip ---> 2:15 save time About 2 minutes of useless information then 30 seconds of what I'm here for then the rest is useless information again
How much did that cost ya?
That was a long time ago man I can't remember anymore sorry
2003 7.3 bus while cruising down the road. The engine will start to rev like I held it wide open for a second. As soon as I let off it quit. Doesn't seem sluggish. Engine lights on. I'll have to go get it scanned. Any input would be appreciated
Midnight Chevy well you say it’s a bus so I’m not an expert on how they work cause international has different parts and tuning for a 7.3 but it sounds like the potentiometer in the pedal is reading wrong and when you let off the throttle it closes the idle validation switch and goes back to normal but i don’t know enough about how international did things to say that’s for sure it
What was it having same problem rn
Where did you buy your pedal and bracket and how much. Thanks
Jay Owera I try to buy all my parts from ford especially with sensors and it was so long ago now I can’t remember how much they cost sorry
Damn dude, nailed it, always fail after it gets too warm. Works fine for the first 20 minutes than bam, gets warm and fsils.
10 2000 what tf does that mean
production date of the truck. 10th week of the year 2000
Hey I have a check engine light that comes on when in idle and when I accelerate over 1500 RPMS it goes away.. When I stop again it got the check engine light back on.. Just wondering if you think its the sensor causing this. Great video btw
PoopInDoop I haven’t heard or experienced that light being on for the tps with it still functioning but best bet plug a code reader and see what code comes up that should point you in the right direction and if it’s an entirely different circuit or sensor it saves you from throwing parts at it cause generally if there is any thing wrong with the tps it just cuts all throttle and only lets the truck idle
Brett Friesen how much was the pedal
@@andrewcavazos70 if i remember correctly is cost me around 170 to 160 bucks Canadian for the pedal and something like 60 bucks for the bracket but your price may varry best bet would be to call your local ford dealer and price it out. (DO NOT USE AFTERMARKET SENSORS ON A FORD TRUCK THEY ARE VERY PROBLEMATIC SAVE YOUR SELF THE HEADACHE AND BUY THE FORD PART)
I have this exact problem with 2001 and sometimes the light comes on sometimes it does not. I am a bit confused on exact part# you used for the throttle assembly. If you could post the part number that would be awesome.
Chris Wesley I bought the one they sell at Napa 2years later still working good $118 Ford wants $450 for just the pedal
So what are some symptoms of it going bad? Mine kinda feels like its sluggish and at first I thought it was surging but then after watching some vids it could be lack of power then it kicking back in maybe once I use cruise it’s not an issue and if it’s cooler inside the cab it’s not an issue leading me to believe it’s the TPS
Steven Mcc it’s possible but my truck never had a loss of power and I’ve never heard of the tps causing that it sounds like it might be another issue all of the information I’ve gathered on tps in these trucks shows that you lose all throttle control and the truck will just stay at idle speed until you mess with it a bit
Steven Mcc loss of power sounds more like injectors going bad or a boost leak
It’s more of a surge idk it’s goofy sometimes it happens more or less when it’s warmer be I do the trick to put cold air to the floor etc and it seems to lessen the problem or take care of it until truck inside gets warmed up again I know I have a fuel line leak somewhere up top and sometimes seems like it’s sucking air but the cooler air on the floor wouldn’t help leaking fuel haha lol the damn 7.3
And idk about the boost leak I’m always in good boost and check that bc I have some stuff done and don’t want to blow it up but don’t really beat on it bc it’s my daily and as far as injectors go they will be getting replaced hopefully soon with some 180/30
@@stevenmcc2119 for my benifit is it cold outside in the morning when you have the problem while the truck is cold
