After the wedding, we had some time to explore the area. Going to one of the best swimming holes I've ever been to. Relaxing in some hot springs in the jungle. To hanging with the family, playing games and having a blast. Then to top it off going and exploring the waterfall garden.
Going to Costa Rica for my brothers wedding

This is the first part of our trip down to Costa Rica. We had the privilege of being there for 9 days. Staying in the a small town for most of the time. The first few days was just wedding prep and the wedding. Then we had some time to relax with the family there and explore the local area.
I spent the entire day at this place

Dude I just looked through your Instagram and your photos are awesome! Keep up the good work, God bless
Also, I may have missed it but when did you go? i’m surprised it was still cold
Thank you so much! It makes me very happy that you enjoyed my photos.
It was mid October. Besides the first night where I had to sleep in my rental car, and it getting slightly below freezing. It was a comfortable temp throughout the day and slightly chilly at night.
@@BrandonNisly Gotcha, thanks!

Amazing video! Love all of the photos, great job!
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Anyone know how to get a similar shot to the one at 5:16? Don’t know much about photography, presuming it’s just a zoom lens of some sort?
Yea the wide shots are around 20mm and the closer shots are 85mm.
@@BrandonNisly Thank you 🙏 the 85mm shot looks so cinematic!
Thank you! Glad you like the shots
U should probably leave since the migration laws r strict and we have a housing crisis Aussies can’t even move out
Migrated to Australia 44 years ago and have never looked book ! Beautiful and unusual photography , but I can’t help wishing he’d captured a little more of Australia’s uniqueness … shown us those roos in the wild etc …
4:56 yep the light is that different
8:45 sunset ? this must of been in summertime early autumn ? because its winter at the moment and its dark before 7
Yes this was mid January when I was there.
Beautiful place NZ 😊
It really is! I was just in awe the entire time I was there.
I'm delighted that you visited Australia, and I can't express enough how much effort you've dedicated to creating the video. Your passion and hard work truly shine through, capturing the essence of this beautiful country in a unique and captivating way. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and I'm sure your video will be a wonderful inspiration for others to explore Australia as well.
I’m am grateful for the opportunity to visit. It was an experience I’ll not forget. The people and places are lovely. Thank you so much for the kind words about the video. I’m very glad you enjoyed it! 🧡
A nice video Brandon, New Zealand is a lovely country, i have travelled both north and south islands and both are so Beautiful to visit 👍 Au
It’s absolutely a beautiful country! Can’t wait to get back some day and explore more of this place.
Yea mate , looks like you swam.
As an Avgeek I’m curious about your itinerary- Did you actually fly direct to Sydney from Detroit? That’s how it looked with the editing in your video, but Delta doesn’t fly nonstop between DTW and SYD to my knowledge- Did you change planes at LAX?
No, Detroit to LAX then Sydney. I’ll get a list of some of the stuff we did to you in a bit.
@@BrandonNisly Ahh, makes sense! Beautiful cinematography btw
@coyotelong4349 Thank you so much! 🧡
What are you trying to do?? Give me a heart attack by dangling your legs over precarious cliff edges!!! Yikes!
Mate, your videography was spectacular. I really hope you get to use your talents somewhere special :) Just think that the tracks you were using, and the waterhole you were swimming in was probably used unchanged by man for 50,000 years.
Had to call him mate just to be a real aussie.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Australia does not stop at Sydney. Go to other places as well.
I cant even find any aussies anymore I bump into some american like F off
dont know why u americans r choosing the far away country that has nothing to do with u at all aus has its own problems with violence youth crime and stabbings while aussies going homeless and our fertility rate is low we need the next generation of Australians from Australians
Looks awesome mate, where was the drone of that beach?
It was awesome! It’s Air Force beach in Evans head.
You are a very talented filmer with an eye for a different perspective.. thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful photography, thats real talent. 👍
Thank you very much! Check out my Instagram for some more photos if your interested.
I heard Australia doesnt really exist, so you must be lying. Lol
Beautiful and nicely edited video 😊hello from Australia 🤩👋🚐
Thank you so much for the kind word’s! Hello from the United States.
What made you want to go to Evans Head? Very little known spot in Australia
We were road tripping from Sydney to Gold Coast. We just were looking at beaches coming up ahead and we picked it cause it looked nice is the answer. It was a really nice beach with some good waves to body surf on.
The opera house is pretty cool. Sydney born and bred. Glad you loved oz
Come to Melbourne and beautiful Victoria next time, you will love it.
I’ll keep that in mind for next time. 👍
I it amusing when people from over seas, such a Europe, USA, Canada ect, they like to come to Australia but they say it's so far away, but they will do, ending up having a fantastic time and probably don't want to go home😢. Australians think differently when we want to go overseas we don't say but it's so far away, we just do it, when know it's far away but don't really go on about it 😊
And DO want to go home because it is the best country to live in, in the world.
@@barnowl.Was, not now, wake up.
Expensive as hell !,don't go there if you are on budget especially backpackers
I'm an Australian bloke, born 1950. I've been very lucky to have travelled throughout Asia, a fair bit of Europe, and half a dozen states is the USA. Whether or not you are a professional video maker, I don't know, but, I know this. Seeing what you have filmed, edited and presented here, is easily on a level with some of the very best I have seen over the last 50+ years, you showed the 'personal', totally relatable experience, that even we Aussies still look for, and so much more, VERY WELL DONE!.👋👋.
Did you crack a coldie when you arrived
I don’t drink. But I did go to dinner with a friend from Gold Coast and they introduced me to Lemon Lime and Bitters. A Fantastic summer drink.
❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👍
Brandon - Absolutely loved you video. One piece of advice I want to give is, that as a ranga (redhead), please look after your skin and wear lots of sunscreen. The Australian sun is super strong due to a hole in the ozone layer and sun damage can be serious and permanent. Simply Slip, Slop, Slap - Google it. Enjoy Australia.
Oh believe me I was the only one in the group to bring some. It did good work but I still got burnt a bit. Once it hit 12-3 I just hid in the shade as much as I could.
Hi, just a correction if I may? Australia's unusually harsh sunshine results mainly from its location in the Southern Hemisphere. The elliptical orbit of the Earth places the Southern Hemisphere closer to the sun during its summer months than the Northern Hemisphere during its summer. The mostly mended hole in the ozone layer is actually much further south over the Antarctic ✌🏼
@@Reneesillycar74 I actually manage to get sunstroke in Scotland (I know not possible). Redhead so possible. So when arrived in Australia already fully warned I slip slop slap all the time. Never got sunburned ever again.
the casual walking around massive drops on those waterfalls... I understand why we always hear of tourists falling to their deaths. Geez be a little more careful bro
Please go to Bondi beach because that’s the best beach in Australia and I go there when it’s summer
Angourie northern NSW
Bondi is the most well known beach in Australia and it's a good beach at that. But it's not Australia's best beach. I'd prefer Manly, Cronulla or Avoca to name just a few.
I hope you come back to my beautiful hometown and visit some of our beautiful suburbs.
You went to Australia! I am going to Australia!
Noice!
Nothing against big city’s but it’s nice when people visit other places too that are not so big here in Australia 😊
Welcome to my home town Sydney, Australia! Born & bred in Sydney ! Still here :)
For the short amount of time I was there I really enjoyed your city.
Great video mate, absolutely loved it 👍🏻
Why thank you! Appreciate it!
It looks like you have visited Morton NP . You went to Jervis Bay and Blue Mountains . Nice video thank you .
HI so glad you are enjoying yourself big welcome.. please take care and enjoy
Don’t ever swim at an unpatrolled beach as beautiful as they are. Many ppl drowned this year getting caught in rips.
Great advice
Unavoidable and impossible since it's a huge coastline with only a few touristy beaches with life guards.
@@elenawalker3746. its not unavoidable ,nor impossible, most tourist beaches are patrolled ,if you go to remote beaches you take your chances, good luck. you have been warned.
You can swim at any beach. Just make sure you know what rips look like and also if caught you swim 45° out of it. Stop scare mongering 🙄
@@Danger_Mouse3619 so you made quite complicated many people will be paralyzed by just seeing it, they will not remember swimming 45 deg out of it 😂
From this video you could be fooled into thinking there's a beach at the Blue Mountains - not so. The mountains are 50kms inland from the coast - no beaches there!
Unless you’ve never left the city, you’d understand that 50km IS close to the beach 🤦♂️
@@joshkleine21 I live 300 metres from the beach, so 50ks is a long way 😁
@@galadriel481 No it’s not. 50km is the exact same distance regardless of where you live. It’s a 30 min drive on a 100km/hr road. It’s a shorter commute than the average Australian commute to work. Where you live doesn’t change the length of a kilometre.
@@joshkleine21 I'm not sure that l understand this conversation. Regardless, there's no beach at the Blue Mountains.
@@galadriel481 I’m not surprised you don’t understand. You don’t present as being very bright.
Appreciate the production. Different.
wow brilliant cinematography. I love how so many come to Australia and yet experience it so differently seeing and valuing different things. Enjoy.
Oh! and I liked your choice of music too. Have a great time and take care.
Thank you!
Welcome to Australia. I loved your video and I do say, your choice of imagery and quality was excellent. I'm a Brisbane lad myself, well not a lad anymore, more an old man now.
The Drone camera work, I really enjoyed !...
Glad you enjoyed it!
