Hiya Ty! Thanks for watching! I try to keep the leaves dry but soil moist. Wet leaves are more likely to rot. I keep them outside in the shade until they are stronger plants then I gradually move them to a sunnier part of the garden.

I have had them just over 2 years so far. The coloured tags have faded a bit but the labels are going strong & have not faded. 👍

Hiya! I think it is a rose queen (either graptoveria or graptopetalum) it was given to me as a cutting with no name a couple of years ago.

Hiya & thanks for watching! My succulent collection is outside & I let nature do the watering most of the year. Where you keep them will play a part in how long it takes for the soil to dry out so I haven't needed to water all winter.

I have a shelf of propagation trays you can see it in this video (Propagating Succulents From Leaves & Cuttings - TCS024) the leaves sit there until roots come out (usually around 2 months) then I put them in soil in a shady spot until they are big enough to move to a sunnier spot. I will make a video when they are ready to plant. I hope all your transplants do well in your back yard. 🌵🥰

I tried some Aeonium leaf propagating but had no luck. They grow quite quickly here (Melbourne) so I decided to stick with cuttings. Thanks heaps for watching I enjoy making the vids. 😍

Hiya! I keep my new succulents & cuttings in the shade for a month or so & gradually expose them to more sun. It does depend on the variety as some do better in the shade & some do better in full sun. I usually just test & if they don't grow well I move them around to another spot in my garden until they grow ok. I use gritty succulent soil that dries out faster than regular potting mix but when we have days of rain I do lose a few here & there to root rot or too much water so I try to remember to move those ones under cover next time. I have lost plenty trying to figure it out! 🤭 Thanks for watching & I hope your succulent garden brings you joy!

Thank you! I have found with Echeveria & Graptoveria the flower stalks & the leaves on the stalk eventually dry up & die off but the mother plant still grows,.

Fabulous, I'm in U.k.,have bought a couple off succulents from garden centre ,to make a planter ,also some alo Vera pups ready heeled for planting. Got some sand grit and potting compost ready to go .Great tip using chopstick thanks Really neat labels ,are you printing them ,or do you order them ?
