Such good information. I want to eventually move tothe DOT or POP to share my business card at markets. It's a QR Code with POP and the DOT system has a band you can wear and people scan it and you can exchange business info.

Can't imagine smelling candles all day but would love the hobby

One thing I’ve learned for the melt pool on your first burn. It does not need to go to a full melt pool anymore. It should leave at least a quarter of an inch all the way around after your first four hour burn and as you still keep melting it down it will go to a full melt pool

I use Makesy vessels as well. My last ordered arrived with 4 broken. Very disappointing! Even though they say once shipped it's "out of their hands" I don't agree with that since the way they package them is terrible! This has me considering ordering from another supplier. Hard decision to make because their stuff is cute.

Very wise to use different melters. I have 3 Vevor melters because I use 3 different types of wax. I also do “wickless testing “ …saves so much money and time.

Excited to see your newer happenings for your business. Make sure you have a backup supplier for Makesy though not to alarm. Even though I do my stuff as hobby it took them 3 weeks to process my old because the were always out of stock. Good luck for your new launch❤

I always save my old stock because I normally gift during the holidays or birthdays and do not want to use my newer stock, and normally the person receiving doesn't mind cause it's a gift.

I’m in NJ. All my holiday markets sucked this year. Good foot traffic, many looking but not buying.

Love your vids. FYI…when I do front loops, I use a different mold for each color loop. I think each mold holds like 30 “loops” or so…really speeds up the process.

I had the exact thing happen just this weekend! Holiday market no one was buying it was slow due to weather I made 50… my table fee! I was so mad!! I usually make at least 400…

I love your set up! it is so cute! I think if I were to sell candles too, I'd probably put one of those essential oil lamps in my booth to puff out the scent of whatever my best sellers were to kind of help entice the scent more when people walk by. or I would get one of those blank filters for the plug in fresheners and put the scent that i use in my candles in them and plug it in on my little generator box maybe even put like a little fan behind it to blow it towards where customers are passing by.. I am painfully slowly getting to where you're at. Overall, keep going girl! I think you're doing fabulous :)

If you’re able to light your candle at your venue or get a candle warmer to use with an external power source, the smell should help sell candles as people walk by ask them to come take some free smells. Put your best seller on the candle warmer. Just be patient it will get better as you experience more markets and get in a rhythm. Also get a separate device for your payment processing, add a line to your existing phone plan and always have your payment processing up and running is a suggestion as well. You’re doing great, keep moving forward!!!
