😢Life is tragically unfair sometimes especially if you are someone who cares about others and have such a good heart like you do. You are dealing with some really heavy stuff both in your personal life and at work and that is doubly hard. Your best friend is so blessed to have you at her side, so many people really don't have caring and loyal frien ds. And working with special needs children is such a hugely noble thing that requires character that most others don't have. I am kinda similar in that I care deeply about others and their misfortunes even if they're strangers, I've learned that I probably care "too much" at least relative to the level that most others care. I'm constantly preoccupied with thoughts about all the innocent people and creatures that are suffering. Something that I've had to learn is that I'm simply not cut out for certain things, it's selfish, but sometimes self preservation is necessary...because if I'm not emotionally ok myself, I can't be of any use to others either. I love animals more than anything but after working at a few wildlife rescues I had to give up on my dream of helping animals. It was too much seeing them suffer, whether from sickness/injury or neglect. I also know that I'm not going to have my own kids because there's too, too many things that I'm acutely aware of at this point and worry endlessly about. I can't even fathom the idea of my child suffering in any way. It is obviously a big loss for me to give that up but it's what's best for my potential children and myself. Not at all saying that's a path you should take, just saying that it's ok to make choices that you know are best for you, even if it differs from the choices that other people make. I hope that things will turn out ok for your nephew.

Can i ask? and its probably going to be insensitive but why are you crying and sad over a baby you didnt even know? Or have much relation to you? I get being sad in the moment, but crying all night? It feels like alot of people need a excuse to cry about their actual lives and when events like this happen thats their excuse to cry. Its like, it seems you arent actually crying for the baby because i mean how could you? Same thing happens at funerals, people crying for a guy they barely knew, never checked up on, but now all of a sudden its a big thing for them and they are so sad. Im not saying this is what your doing, but it really seems like it. I only say this because going back to my funeral point, ive seen so many people cry about some of my friends deaths, or people i knews deaths and they have never even talked to them before, or barely knew them. It just seems so fake to me, but maybe im missing something here. How can you cry for someone you dont know?
