Hi! Very informative videos. I've subbed. I have a 2017 Model S, currently with an MCU1 at 2022.8.10. I've scheduled an upgrade to MCU2. Do you know if that's all I need to do to get 2024.14.5? Or do I need the fancy FSD stuff? I'm in Europe, so FSD doesn't work here due to regulation and likely won't for quite some time. So I'm not terribly interested in shelling out cash for a feature I can't use

I have three more years worth of payments on my 2023 Model 3 RWD. I am asking myself if I want to get another Model 3 or move up to the S (new or used). You gave us unrefutabel proof that new or used a Tesla or any electric car will have a long lifespan with few major repairs. I am impressed that Tesla would have put such high tech in a car made back in 2017.

I recently bought this exact model used. Great car. How much typical range does yours show? How much range do you actually get? Mine has that weird quirk where the kWh consumption that the car computer shows seems underreported by about 20%, otherwise the numbers wouldn't add up.

Hi. I hope you’re well. I pulled the trigger on a 2016.5 MS P90D refresh and absolutely love it. I’m glad I watched some of your videos. M3 was too small for my family with a car seat in the back. In regards to replacing the cabin air filters, which ones do you buy and where do you find them. I don’t see an option to buy a filter for our generation MS. I only see MS 2021+. Have you tried or do you recommend any air filters from Amazon?

Great review of Tesla insurance. I am with Travelers now, but always shop around. My problem is home insurance and not being able to bundle it. I think Tesla,insurance could save me, but my home insurance would get jacked up and off set any savings. I live in Dallas and the insurance is going through the roof, literally lol. Keep up the great work.

This is a really good video and your enthusiasm helps capture the audience! One thing you could improve on is to have your script fact-checked and make corrections in the commentary instead of inserting text. Video making is hard to master as building rockets is, but you can take the SpaceX approach and incrementally improve each time to reach perfection in the end. You have a lot of potential, so keep up the great work!

When I was a kid, I dreamed about NASA or another organization launching a super ambitious project like Starship. I waited and dreamed for many years. I imagine most people desire ambitious projects that advance humanity and propel us into the future. Starship surpasses my dreams and most people's expectations due to its scale compared to previous and current projects. It's astonishing how many people are ignorant of Starship or unaware of its magnitude. We see most of the press writing negative and inaccurate stories about it, and we see 60 years old streamers who live in their basement laughing of the world's best rocket engineers working on a revolutionary project. See their failure and the success of this project and humanity will be incredibly satisfying. Every great thing in history had it's doubters and haters. We are seeing in real time how idiotic haters and doubters can be.

Also what really bugs me in the software at 16:00 at your video you bring up the backup camera, the corners are not finished good i can never unsee that anymore.

I'm about to move from Texas to North Carolina and was hoping your video would give me pointers (other than get rid of everything) for the move. I'm not really planning on bringing any large furniture but my clothes, even puppy stuff, and kitchen, etc wouldn't fit in just a car and was thinking of one of those U-Haul containers, which I did use for my move from SF to Texas a few years ago. Just got a 2016 Tesla Model S with unlimited supercharging to road trip with my puppy to NC (and other road trips) so found your channel from trying to educate myself on Tesla. I'm also planning on upgrading to MCU2 but getting an appointment is crazy...first available is a month away so I'm going to do that before I get on the road to NC. Thought about waiting until I get to NC but I would want all the entertainment options prior to road tripping. Thanks for your videos.

Great videos! I have a 2017 MS with FSD it says Full Self Driving computer and It has the MCU2 upgrade. But I don’t see live video feed of sentry mode. Is it unavailable for this model year? Wil appreciate your input!

How can it do u turns if it can't reverse? Notice any differences between newer teslas on the same software version?

Thanks for going through Sentry mode/camera features on MCU2. Everyone else goes on about netflix and games without even mentioning any practical justification for the $2250 upgrade.
