Walked into the HR office the other day for a meeting. All the signs stating "This is a positive space" in the outside offices (a psychological bit of trickery) and then I walked into the meeting and told them I quit. That working for their organization was a detriment to my well being and a continuation of the relationship was untenable. They were gobsmacked. One is expected to continue in an environment were one is harassed or assaulted or bullied or lied to and act as though it is a perfectly reasonable environment to try to exist in. Yet all these signs everywhere, in every office, telling you how it is when you know it's a lie. 😑 I enjoyed my job and could deal with the normal chaos of the day, but not this.
Unfortunately our modern world is full with these psy-ops techniques to keep the people engaged into the system… I am so happy for you taking this massive step into freedom! No one should have to sacrifice their health for a job😪 “If not this then something better” ✌️
