It's Roald Dahl (not Ronald) and he didn't write Superfudge, that was Judy Blume. The Roald name is most likely Welsh, hence the unfamiliar spelling
Also the lake house was filmed in my small home town when I was in middle school! I remember walking home and seeing the fake snow everywhere that the filming crew had laid down. And I got to watch (from a distance) Sandra Bullock film a very short scene outside a house which didn’t make it into the final cut of the movie. It was so cool!!
That is so cool!!!! It's still on my list for this year! I just watched the replacements with Keanu Reeves and now I want to watch the lakehouse even more now! How cool that it was filmed in your town!!!!
Such a cozy episode 🥺 one of my cozy fall books this year is The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling, the third in its series. This will be my third Halloween of reading one of these books the week of and on Halloween! They are the perfect way to be cozy on Halloween in between passing out candy 😊

Nancy drew games were a big part of my childhood, and my best friend and I still play them together now in our 30s! My favorite is Stay Tuned for Danger ❤️ it was the first one I played and has a special place in my heart.
