I’ll tell ya what it shouldn’t be: the Pentax K5. I hated that thing.

I'm currently planning on the R10 and saving up for that. Still in the planning stage for lenses. The R10 can come with an 18-150. But I was considering getting just the body and then getting the 16mm rf 2.8 and the 50mm rf 1.8. If I wait a bit though, Sigma is coming out with an RF lens sometime this year that might also be good. Sigma 18-50 f2.8. One use will be as a webcam at a desk to film about 3 to 4 feet from the miniature at 4k, then crop it to 1080 for OBS for twitch with a 2x digital zoom and be comfortable to paint. It needs to have a decent depth of field where it will stay in focus moving in my hands. The other side is to be able to do astrophotography, nature and wildlife, some birding in the back yard and general starting stuff. For my use, the 1.6 crop sensor zoom won't be a bad thing at least for the filming.

I bought a Canon crop sensor 77d for my first camera. I was so disappointed when I discovered I had to multiply my lens size and aperture by 1.6 to get the actual values. I started saving immediately for a full frame and love my R8 but I wish I could have skipped the crop sensor step.

I have an R8 which has limited controls compared to the R6 so I love having the control ring set for aperture. I think it is great innovation, it is there if you want to use it and it doesn’t get in the way if you dont use it. Anyway love your pov street videos.
