Mosin Nagant M44 (My Favorite Rifle)
Thinking of getting one, was hesitant since I can’t use my holster but nice I comes with one.
It's a nice holster too. I'm still using it 👍
This is also an issue with Glock 43X & 48 MOS models. If the optic mounting screw is too long it extends into the extractor rod assy hole and you will have a gun which won't extract/malfunction. Always remove the guts out of the slide and check for clearance when mounting optics on G43x/G48 models. I frequently have to shorten the screws and I have mounted about 40-50 optics on these models.
Thanks for the tips and interesting to hear it's an issue with other manufacturers as well
Hello, just a question.. mine is no longer locking. has anyone had the same problem?
That's peculiar because it should lock even with dead batteries. But may be worth changing them out and seeing if that does anything. Also check and see if alignment is off. Hope you figure it out
I would not even keep a gun that did not run as designed. It sucks you need to buy aftermarket parts to make it work. Shame on Ruger.
But I really like the gun, it's an awesome pocket pistol. I don't mind putting 10 bucks worth of springs in it. But yes, Ruger should fix these before shipping them out
@@AmattEUR Yeah, I get it. I really wanted to like it but to me its way to thick and heavy for a 22 and I would rather have a DAO and no safety myself. I prefer my Kel-Tec P32 for pocket carry just because its thinner and lighter and has a more reliable center fire round although expensive ammo by comparison. If someone made the P32 same gun in a 22lr I would jump on it.
Those P32/P3AT Kel Tecs are sweet little guns. I have a Ruger LCP Max for my main carry. Honestly this little LCP22 is just a fun gun for me but I think it would be the perfect pocket pistol for someone with low grip strength or who's recoil shy, as long as it works of course.
What bipod is on ur rifle in this video? I just love how yours looks
Thanks! The bipod is just a generic one attached with the sling mount like this www.amazon.com/CVLIFE-Hunting-Rifle-Bipod-Adjustable/dp/B0827BJJ5P/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=1PYMD1CUYS6O4&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.PLcF7H52Htx0_GHNp5DCBMpSPrFEnK_ZwXbekcfRMuKtqsSiAH440rx8_vQj3IhFhHhWmd-x3vFCk4ZIS9Zrq0HpOfo4UXS21boFzIBQTRDDM0Jn_h5wMheYkDSsvG5uc3JglpUuxtzSD2dApijMWTW7bsm7hwTNSuyhcbxIiUun8ar85BatelVbZDWSGm4LXJwn55d4hxENdfs52dCiTg.wvJ68gconc3FNO2K9pCr5BAvqHHjjljeOS2VVsVOtuc&dib_tag=se&keywords=bipod+sling+mount&qid=1733838496&sprefix=bipod+s%2Caps%2C192&sr=8-4
We keep loaded firearms scattered around the house, easier than on the hip all day long...our 6.5 inch heritage is in the basement, Hornady loaded...big area, laundry down there, beats the nothing we had there before...
Great option to have a few scattered around the house. Cheap but reliable. I also have firearms scattered around the house 👍
Haha just found this, good intro and review
Hey thanks man! Coincidentally I just finished filming a part 2 with the Walther PPK/S in 22lr. Hoping to have it posted this Saturday
Just put mine together only thing i dont know about is the lil white box that is supposed to be used as a backup is pretty nice for the price
Yeah that little white box plugs into the port under the knob, I believe, and will power it so you can open it and change the batteries. Definitely a great cabinet for the price. Thanks for watching ✌️
Great Video I don't have one but the first time at the range with one it became one of my favorites.
It's a great piece of history and really fun to shoot. Thanks for watching!
I have a shit ton of those Korean mags so this is in the works I plan to fix em up with a dremel and new springs
Hope it works out! Seems like with the right ammo these mags perform well
Wonder if it can be forced reset 😅
If what can be forced reset?
@@AmattEUR frt
Oh I see. It does accept drop in triggers so maybe
Unbelievable, you think they should have more accessory's and more stuff for the LCP series 😂😂 do you have a clue, you don't want nothing on the gun , you don't want to add anything. It's supposed to be plain and small as possible, it's a pocket carry pistol . You don't need a light or laser or anything. Get a clue , if you want that 💩 then buy a different gun .
Not sure why you watched/clicked on the video lol 😆
@AmattEUR I watched because I own 2 LCP MAX and I watch all videos on the gun . The gun is for the pocket for a up close defense if needed . It's not meant for additions and to be made bigger , all I'm saying is if you want ad ons then buy a different gun . Get a clue
@RonSaywer so you watch videos that you already think serve no purpose just to leave negative comments? I'm pretty sure you're the one desperately searching for a clue 🤣
@@AmattEUR no that is not what I did . I watch all LCP MAX videos. I just said what I thought , it's no biggie.
@RonSaywer and what you thought was nothing but negative, ignorant and highly irrelevant to the thousands of people who clearly disagree with you. You're acting like this is the only gun I own and I made some sort of bad decision, according to your limited information of me, and you don't even know me. I have many carry guns, I like this gun, I choose to carry it for it's size/firepower/reliability ratio, I choose to illuminate my target, I don't think the light adds significant size or weight. It's still smaller and lighter than any gun of it's size/firepower/reliability ratio. And that's what I think, no biggie. Keep the comments coming, the YT algorithm and I thank you 😁
Turns on light “maintain element of surprise” .. derp derp
Apparently you've never gone from a lit room to a dark room. Derp derp
I know im late to the party but Ive been doing some researching and I also plan on buying this light/holster combo for my LC380. Based entirety on this video. Ill let you know what I think of it ❤ Also. Those shots at 25 yards is 10/10 👌
Any video on a taurus ar 15 t4?
Honestly I had no idea Taurus even made an AR
I poor the cap full and dunk snake in it.. so as not to get random things in my solvent. CLP is supposed to work as a carbon cleaner as well.
That's probably a better idea than what I do. Usually I end up throwing out the last 20% or so after it gets too dirty. But at least a bottle of the bore cleaner lasts a long time. And I used to use CLP for the barrel but that'll leave behind oil that will attract dirt and grime so I switched to the bore cleaner, just for cleaning out the barrel.
I learned what keyholing means today. Thanks!!! :)
Glad to pass the knowledge along 👍
What size battery does it take and can you even change it? Does it come with instruction book on that?
It comes with one of these batteries. Simple to change but I don't think I've ever changed it a.co/d/gAPSiW8
Can is loud af
Not really. I have another video demonstrating how quiet it is. You also saw it with only 3 baffles when it has 6 fully configured. Plus having it on a short barrel is way louder than a long barrel
@ oh good! I wasn’t aware it was reconfigured. That matters lol
I bet you took off the optic by now
Nope, still on there. I did put the original box mag back on though so it'd fit in my cabinet better
I ordered the Mini 550 lumen for my Maxim PDX SBR in 5.56 and was so impressed with it I ordered 2 of the M9L-G’s with 1300 lumens for my other 2 AR’s! Great video 👍🏻
That's an awesome gun, I always wanted a PDX in 762x39. Enjoy and thanks for watching!
People need to stop cutting these big manufacturers like ruger slack that gun should work correctly straight out the box really sad guns coming from turkey is better quality than what the usa is making
Totally agree. I really like the pistol but wish it worked out of the box.
It just feels strange to me that the accesseries cost 3x as much as the gun, but I guess that's normal.😅 Also, how do I choose between Gen 2 and compact? Why go just a bit smaller and lose barrel and capacity?
I wouldn't say 3x as much, but probably about the same price minus the suppressor since I use it with other 22s. This video came out well before the gen 2 but I really like the look of this one which is totally subjective. I'd just get whatever makes you happy. The difference in barrel length is pretty much inconsequential so the shorter one is better for having a suppressor attached.
@@AmattEUR Thank you! I can see from your comparison that they're almost the same size, so I chose the Gen2 full size for the extra default ammo capacity. It comes with a 22 round mag. Also, I already have a 22lr pocket gun, so my goal was to have a full size. Thanks for this video. Your attachments looks awesome, so I may copy you!
Glad to help! I really like the new gen 2, they kinda copied the compact and made it full size. I have a gen 1 full size so probably won't be getting a gen 2 but I think they're really cool. Can't go wrong either way!
I have an fm-45 sitting in the back of the safe that I gave up on and forgot about like 3 years ago. I also have a sigurd in my drawer of shame lol. Glad I found this video. I guess I'll give it another go
I was in the same predicament and decided to dust off the old girl to give it another try. They're great guns but just a little finicky with ammo. Hopefully this video helped!
U from Canada? And what part , to add a p-rail please add link
Nope, US. The rail replaces the gas tube www.opticsplanet.com/ncstar-sks-gas-tube-scope-mount-w-side-rails.html?_iv_code=NC-MT-235408-MSKSV2
That was a crazy-good price. I think Ruger charges about $160 and I have seen them at 3rd party vendors for around $110 (I have no idea if there are any differences between them) I wonder if Rufer will ever get around to selling them with a threaded barrel installed?
Lockloaded . Com has them for 90 bucks in stock right now. They're a good site I've used before. I wish ruger would sell them with the threaded barrel. But they probably won't, that way they make more money. As long as it has rugers name on it it should be the same product no matter who the seller is.
You don’t need a red dot on a 22
You don't need to tell people your opinion
I converted mine to 9 shot and have both cylinders. I bought a 4-3/4" 9 shot and switched all the mechanicals.
That's awesome! I really wish Heritage would release a 9 shot barkeep. But I too want to convert mine.
Still running strong?
Yep, purring like a kitty 👍
@ very cool! I picked up a GF5 so I’ve been a little nervous being that it’s my first American made Ak. I have a molot vepr and a few zastavas so this PSA has some big shoes to fill. I don’t see it lasting over 10k but maybe I’m wrong. I wanted something keep rounds of my imports and to beat on. I ran 400 rounds straight out of the box no issues brass included. I did notice a little wear already on the right side locking lug in the trunnion but every PSA I’ve seen has that wear. Good or bad idk but only time will tell. I did snag an extra firing pin “WBP”
Have a link for that flashlight 🔦? Awesome review!
Hey thanks man! Unfortunately that product doesn't seem to exist anymore. If you're looking for low-budget check out mostrum, I've had good luck with them in the past.
@AmattEUR appreciate that brother!
This was a pleasant video to watch. Good editing. That was some impressive accuracy. I swapped in 9 shot mechanicals. Hammer on an empty cylinder giving me 8 rounds with 5 more in my NAA .22 Magnum. 13 rounds! Vaseline on the rim of the shells to hold them in.
Nice! I too have a NAA 22 mag. If you check out my scoped heritage rancher video you'll see it in the intro. Plus I have a separate video on it as well. I really want to swap out the internals and make this barkeep a 9 shot. Seems easy enough to do, these little revolvers are so simple to take apart. Thanks for the nice comment, I really appreciate it! 👍
FM specifically says NOT to use those clear mags or Korean mags in the manual! ONLY GLOCK OR MAGPUL!
Does the manual use all caps lock too? Thanks, but honestly I don't know anyone who actually reads gun manuals anymore. It's usually 10 pages of warnings and then a page or 2 of actually useful information.
@AmattEUR Yes, all caps, but only in the 2 pages of important info.🤯
Just now, watching your video, I've envisioned a new test. For you, should you have or can get / borrow the gear? Trying this same objective, only at night, with night vision, IR, and thermal vision. White ball balls might just light up like tracers? Use that or the thermals to track, trace, database, and recover each warm from being freshly being fired golf balls? Whats your locale? I'd love to colab? Maybe bring some toys? Great video btw. 👍'd and subscribed
Thanks! That would be a fun night shooting game! I just need to track down a decent NV that I can record with. I'm located in the Midwest. I appreciate the support! ✌️

Thanks!
I'm here for information but you say "when would you ever need a cheek riser on a shotgun" I'm asking "when did you need to adjust for windage to the point you destroyed your rear sight?"
Also, you're the 1st person I've seen after many videos to mention mini rounds in this shotgun. Never plan to use them myself but Thanks so much for the info, all of it! 😊
Probably didn't explain it very well in the video but the rear sight broke the moment I touched it for the first time. Probably just a one-off but that's why I had to put Magpul sights on. Glad you enjoyed the info! It was a fun video to make ✌️
Tula/Wolf 154grn.( unobtainium at this point) was always one of the most accurate steel cased rounds you could buy. Was also extremely effective hog or deer medicine.
I imagine most people use it for hunting within 100 or so yards. Definitely hard to come by these days.
Sg ammo has some
It is absolutely the best guide i was able to find! Thanks a lot!!!
Glad it helped!

Me too, I'd prefer a light over laser
Got the same exact gun and sight today. Had the same problem. So damn happy your was the first video that I clicked on, chambers perfectly now. Thank you.
Glad this video helped! It's a great setup when it works 👍
She borrowed the book from him many years ago and hasn't yet returned it.
What worries you masters you.
You can observe a lot just by watching.
The thing I love about the SKS that you get with very few rifles is its versatility from one gun. Now yes ARs can be built any way, switch out the upper and you can change calibers and barrel lengths as you please. But the SKS is a ONE gun. The 762 is the PERFECT JOAT cartridge. Its just big and heavy enough to take on light 30 caliber tasks, but being an intermediate cartridge', it take on intermediate caliber tasks even better. It can be set up as a DMR, a traditional rifle, a battle rifle, a hunting rifle, a sporting gun, you name it, all while being the same ORIGINAL gun. The only issue with them is the price. They've slowly been going up but you're seeing more supply these days from more imports so its still not nearly as bad as Mosins, but if you're on a budget and need ONE rifle that you can configure into any setup desired, the SKS is the one to get it done.
Old vs New.. Old it's for Down and Dirtying Fire 🔥 Fighting..New it's for swinging against attacker Ahhh 🤬😭😹😹🤬😭😹😹.. All Gave Some and Some Gave All... 82nd/AirBorne out Fort Bragg North Carolina and Fort Campbell Kentucky Fry chicken 🐓🐔🍗🍗
Thank u. Nice to see this after i chipped the frame. Lol. Oh well. We run this gun hard. It's the go-to when we have varmints.
Probably sold a bunch of these cans with this video…. Very nice 👍
Hopefully 🤞 It's a good can, very versatile. Thanks for watching
