I stumbled upon this channel the other day and have since been watching a lot of these Billy Hatcher videos. My friend used to run this game many years ago, so I've known about it but never knew too much. As a fellow speedrunner myself, these videos always fascinate me, and I love using them as a glimpse into other communities. Keep it up!

Billy <3 (In all seriousness I'm very grateful to you for reigniting my love for Billy, after watching your GDQ run back in 2020. I may not talk much in the billy discord, but it's been a blast seeing everyone improve on their runs and just learning fun tech to eventually use in runs, hopefully soon I'll get a motivation kick to just grind billy stuff and get the confidence to do an actual run OTL)

I only just found this channel, and I think it's great stuff. I grew up having a love-hate relationship with this game, but I've grown to appreciate it over the years simply because there's nothing else quite like it, and I think your videos solidify that fact further. Here's to 1k and beyond.

God damnit, I was so scared just from seeing the title, don't scare me like this man. Big congratulations on 1000 subs, you deserve a lot more than that, especially looking at a quality of your videos and passion, that you put into them. I feel like a big selling part of your videos, at least for me is that you know what you are talking about, not only from digging information or talking with others(they are not bad methods by any means), but also from experience as an active runner. Also, your beginner guides are fantastic, and without them I wouldn't even have thought about trying speedrunning billy myself. I still have to finish a full run tho. In the end, again congratulations for achieving this milestone and I can't wait to see your channel with a youtube partnership.

This is a weirdly specific hangup I've discovered I have but I hate when videos are like, "How this new strat BROKE the game"; and immediately I greatly enjoy on how the focus is immediately on how the speedrun was improved. It's just immediately more honest and positive. Anyway thanks for the video!

would love to see another long form video going over the history of the Any% category for Bill Hatcher throughout the years. i know it would require a-lot of research etc but i've always loved this game and it would be great to learn how the speedrun developed overtime.
