All parents should put their children in the spiritual education along with material education so that they dont waste money in high education if their child want to pursue spiritual life after his school education. Its a loss for parents hard earned money and loss of other students who could not got that seat. In this world we need both spiritual gurus snd material science to make it a better society.
Why ISKON people need justification and proving? They are high level of cheat. have myself seen OSKON people in Amsterdam cheating people based on Geeta. Big laiers. This is better because the material world is benefiting from you technical view points. At the same time spiritual world is benefiting from your donation! If you don't keep any money with you how is it enjoyment? It is tapasya only. Lastly I'm only saying this as your mind is not yet detached from wealth so you seem to see it as evil. There are many godly kings in the past such as King janaka who lived amid many riches!! This is because the kings mind was completely detached from wealth.
I've listened to Prabhujis 's Bhagwad Geeta course and his interviews with Hare Krishna TV. I was highly inspired by him. And watching his parents to understanding the devotional path and supporting him in this is so so heartwarming. I literally cried. Huge respect to such parents. They donated their most beloved possession in the service of Krishna. Krishna will always keep them happy.🙏

Actually parents are the root cause of corruption, they only accumulate money for next & next generations then they after growing up do the same wealth accumulation & parents expect their kids to take care of them only..maa baap ko ek accha insaan banana chahiye lekin aisa shayad hi koi parent kr rha h..sab bas bacchon ko IAS, IPS, crorepati banta hua dekhna chahte hain..itne selfish nhi hona chahiye parents ko..desh me sahi parenting kisi ko sikhane ki zaroorat hai..this Young man sounds more humane than the parents asking question(who only seem interested in material benefits) & they are the reason why this once a spiritual nation has doomed today.
I am so fortunate to have been part of the same temple (ISKCON Columbus near Ohio State University) for since 2016. Going there was the best thing that happened to me in this life. Not only me but even my parents became Krishna Conscious. It's sad that without proper understanding of our vedic culture and traditions, common people claiming to be "hindu" are simply making false statements. During vedic times, parents would admit their kids to gurukul to learn vedic and spiritual knowledge. That phase is called "brahmachari ashram" where young children would learn celibacy and scriptures. Then they'd enter "Grihastha ashram" or married life, then Varnaprastha ashram and then Saniyaas. It's a natural progression in everyone's life. But because in today's time people have little to no interest in acquiring spiritual knowledge. All life they want to work like dogs and cats, and make money and satisfy their ego and their family's false expectations. Anyone trying to make spiritual advancement shouldn't be stopped, in fact use them as a tool for our own spiritual growth.
